    Also, the fact that Macklin did bleed that much and went to absolute hell to keep that belt just made Macklyn an immediate superstar in the fans eyes. This man is now made, he IS the international champion.

    Same. Only in a devils advocate way I can see why the decision was made specifically after this match, but if I didn’t know that they had banned blading I have no problem with this match whatsoever. This match is super awesome. This is what you want from a dog collar match.
