If I replace Shump with Thornton, I gain nothing with that trade. I lose scoring, and I lose lose lose rebounding.
I gain some FT% which I don't care about because I built my team to dump that category. I gain some assists, which, whatever. If it's Dwight and Thornton you want, you have to increase your side of the deal.
If I make this deal I'm pretty much giving up on rebounds and going for scoring/3s/FT%. The only quality player that fits that new mold is Rondo. Nuh uh.
