    TNA General Discussion Thread

Yeah, I get you. It would be nice to not be associated with a company like that. Also, I think the world of TNA and think they could thrive on their own. I personally think that if Anthem wanted, they could have suitable TV deals in the US and UK. I think they're holding out for something huge...

    TNA General Discussion Thread

Oh interesting, how come you don't watch NXT? I'm glad you're fine with the recaps. I have a habit of viewing r/squaredcircle through the week so I'd find it very hard to avoid spoilers...

    TNA General Discussion Thread

I wonder how many TNA fans tune into NXT weekly vs those who don't... especially compared to NXT fans who tune into TNA weekly. I assume it's quite skewed one way. Personally, I watch both every week (since Battleground last year). Though if TNA ceased the relationship, I would gladly drop NXT...

The "WWE Using TNA As Willing Puppets To Attempt To Kill AEW" megathread

I'm a bit behind on TNA, and don't want to do a crazy rant - but I say the latter (regarding Gail's tweet). The funny thing is that even if they're not selling anywhere near 7000 tickets to Slammiversary, it doesn't mean they would be super "small". Judging by Hard to Kill 2024 and what Scott...

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) General Thread

Looks fun. I wonder if we'll get another PPV before the end of the year...

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) Presents: Resurrection (July 5, 2025)

I'm a bit late but I agree that it was not as good as Northern Rising. Still a fun time though. I honestly thought Gisele v Shotzi was the worst match on the show. I wonder when the next PPV is, it seems like the two events announced are just live events. I assume Alexander defends against...

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP) Presents: Resurrection (July 5, 2025)

They announced Josh Alexander vs Ace Austin for the Canadian championship. Hell yeah, that's going to be awesome. The rest of the card looks decent: * Gisele Shaw vs Shotzi for the women's Canadian championship * PCO vs Dan Moff - I've never seen that guy wrestle, otherwise I think this will...

    Alan Angels confirms TNA departure

That sucks, I enjoyed his interview segments, and thought he could have been stuck around in the X-Division. Would be nice if he pops up on MLP.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Presents: Northern Rising (May 10, 2025)

MLP announced their next event, "Resurrection" on July 5th in Quebec. On the website they mention that PCO will main event, which I think is super disappointing. Could mean he has the men's title going into the show? Or challenging for it? :/ On the bright side, Josh Alexander is in the...

Several backstage figures gone from TNA including Gail Kim

It's interesting to note that the Ariel guy apparently annoyed some people in NXT too. We haven't heard anything really negative about Gail in the last few years, have we? Either way, I guess the PR worked. Everyone on the r/squaredcircle thread have flipped to "actually this is a great move"...

Several backstage figures gone from TNA including Gail Kim

There's a guy who seems to be on every TNA post, defending the decisions made no matter who gets screwed over. Seems to be happy they got rid of people, and their response to a report of a talent wanting to leave the company when their deal runs out was pretty much "how dare they not be...

Several backstage figures gone from TNA including Gail Kim

Wow. Anthem really can't go a few months without doing something weird/stupid ever since the rebranding... lol. I wish they had just sold to Scott.

Moose says there were plans for CM Punk to feud with him in TNA in 2023

I wonder what TNA would have looked like if they somehow did get Punk or Ospreay. Anthem don't fire Scott, presumably, and the company gets a crazy amount of buzz without needing to partner with WWE :DAMN:

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Presents: Northern Rising (May 10, 2025)

Mayhem was really good, so I'm super excited for Northern Rising. Those belts look pretty clean, from what we can see. Hope Kylie wins the women's title :mark: Also, sounds like Scott hopes to get a TV/streaming deal by late 2025/early 2026, and is trying to get some wrestlers on MLP contracts...

I find TNA easy to watch because it's just 2 hours a week, technically same goes for NXT. I try to check out the big WWE shows though.
