Vince McMahon Reportedly Makes Big Change to WrestleMania 31 Main Event

We noted two weeks ago that WWE officials would not be putting Daniel Bryan into the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match at WrestleMania 31 with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar because Vince McMahon didn't want to go that route again after doing the same thing last year. Vince reportedly held a meeting this past week and changed his mind.

According to The Wrestling Observer, the new idea for the WrestleMania 31 main event is Bryan vs. Reigns vs. Lesnar for the title.

Plans could always change between now and the Fastlane pay-per-view on February 22nd but the current idea is to do a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 31 after Vince made the decision, apparently due to the crowd reactions.

Don't buy it at all but certainly interesting if true...

WWE better stick to their guns and keep it Reigns vs Brock, they already made the Rumble mean nothing placating a bunch of crybaby Bryan fans who make it sound like he should win everything and be on every program.

Seriously...I knownyou have to please the fans but changing the WrestleMania main event two years in a row is a bit much. Worst part is Reigns got shitted on for winning the Rumble after Bryan got eliminated so if they put DB in the title match and he doesn't win, the backlash is going to be twice as bad on Reigns.

Keep it as it's planned. Can't keep switching plans cause some marks will cry if Bryan isn't always in the title picture

They should stick to the planned main event I agree with that anyway. Not always a big fan of triple threats. One on one is a better measure of whether Reigns is ready for the main event picture.

Difference is Bryan is in his prime and only lost his main event spot due to injury. I don't think they should add him to the main event for reasons already stated, but don't forget he would only be added, its not like they are talking about Reigns losing his spot.

Bryan also got booed on Raw when he said he was a bettet wrestler than Reigns, so I'd ask why hes being put in the match anyway.

I think personally that adding Bryan takes away meaning if Reigns wins. Beating Brock one on one would be a much bigger deal. That's one of the reasons why I'm against it

Good point. But would you be in favour of them putting the belt on Reigns? Just because he won the rumble and may or may not be their next big thing (see what I did there!) doesn't mean they have to rush the title onto him. Could have him win it later in the year or something.

Two years in a row Daniel Bryan fans have killed the credibility of the Royal Rumble, because they think they should book it. Love to see a backlash from people who don't live and breath Daniel Bryan.
