theres other ways to help lesser established stars.an example would be the way ric flair made sting in wcw

no.dont forget their first match at clash of champions .by the match being so close but flair keeping the belt that made sting an instant somebody.that was years before their match at great american bash where sting went over.

maybe wwe realizes they need to sell 100,000 plus tickets for wrestlemania 32 in texas and could use a legend from texas wrestling his first match in over a decade to headline the bill.

clash was 1988 i believe. it gave sting instant cred.which led to him being a horseman and eventually pinning flair 2 years later and a good year before flair went to wwf
