XCOM: Enemy Unknown

I have little experience with strategy games but I've been enjoying this so much. A bit less so since the massive rise in difficulty after the first chapter and some missions take ages for me, but it's rare I that I get so much enjoyment out of a challenging kind of game. Each fight plays out differently so it's very replayable and you feel like a bloody genius when you manage to improvise and outsmart the enemy.

WarioWorld. Still a pretty under rated game. About to play some Wind Waker though, and can't wait. Favorite game of all time.

Diablo 3 (Xbox)

I have been a huge fan of dungeon crawler games as far back as Gauntlet & Shadowgate on the NES, and honestly this entire fucking generation has only had 3 of them worth bringing up, Sacred 2, a decent game with a massive map, and more side quests than you can shake a stick at, but limiting the players to 2 per console lost a lot of points. Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms Daggerdale, a DLC game that fails to give players enough room for exploration, and also is a 2 player game. Then Diablo 3(as the generation is already dead), which hits just about every mark I look for in a game like this, 4 players per console, changing attire with equipment, a half assed interesting story(a good story is not required, I will explore those dungeons a million times before I hang up one of these games), and an easy to learn button layout.

Not as good overall as Champions of Norrath on the PS2, but if you have friends in the same room as you that all love these types of games too, its the best option this generation has given.

Resident Evil 6

I cannot believe how good this game is! Especially since 5, it's been failure after failure, after failure. This is the Resident Evil that I remember, so let's keep it that way, Capcom.
