Get Rich > Massacre > Curtis

Cam

Purple Haze > Come Home With Me > Killa Season > SDE > Confessions

Cam'ron got better with age. 50 waterred(sp) down as he got bigger, the money changed him. Cam could still spaz on a Night Court sample and a orchestral monster beat within the same album.

agree'd....I still wouldn't say cam has better albums. Even the subpar Massacre album had some real good tracks on it. To me, Purple Haze was a 2 track album (Get em girls, Down and Out) Nothing else stood out on that album to me.

@ Montana, need to go back and listen to Purple Haze. That album had nuff joints on them.

@JMay, 50 had Em and Dre behind him. Did you expect him to fail? It's not a guarantee you'll go platinum bein backed up by a big artist but 50 had those hits. Plus Cam was never really a big commercial artist, every two years he came out with an album (aside from this recent one). 50 really hasn't gone away since he debuted.

Heres my opinions on the tracks

More gangsta music : OK
Get down : Lame
Killa Cam : Lame (single failed)
Lame me alone part 2 : OK
Down and Out: Real Good
Harlem Streets : Lame
Girls : OK (close to lame; single failed)
Soap Opera : Lame
Bubble Music : OK, not my style
More Reasons: OK
The Dope man : Hot (ripped beat though)
Family Ties : Pretty Good
Adreniline: Not my style
Hey Lady : Lame (single failed)
Shake : Pretty good (but the single failed)
Get em Girls : One of the hottest tracks of the years (any verison)
Dipset Forever : Lame
Take em to church: Ehhh
Lord you know (not on album, but was single...pretty good)
Rush Rush (not on album, but was supposed to....HOT)

Cam'ron is a hot rapper, but his albums have too much filler imo. Rush Rush was hotter than 90% of the stuff on Purple Haze. I think 50's albums are a little better because he's more versitile with his style. Cam'ron seems to only be good at certain tracks, and most the album sounds the same. Dipset runs into that problem imo. I think 50 almost masters the commericial tracks and mixing his style.

Non-single good 50 cent tracks off his albums

- What up gangsta (one of the biggest non-video tracks on the radio here that year, the black label vinyl single sold very well here)

- Patiently Waiting ( Yeah, Em+ Dre helped 50, but this is still hot)

- High all the time ( One of the unsung classics off this album)

- Heat ( I didnt like it, but i knew a handful of ppl that did back before the album came out)

- If I can't ( Jay -z got on this track after the album was finished)

- BLood Hound ( Good filler imo)

- Backdown ( Ja Rule diss...another classic imo B-side to In da club)

Massacre:

I'm supposed to die tonight - Real good

Gatman + Robbin - Solid

Get in my Car - Very good

Ski Mask Way - Very under rated

A Baltimore Love thing - Different but good

Ryder Music - Pretty good

Gunz come out - SOlid

Position of Power - Another one of my favorites on the album

God gave me Style - Real good

Curtis (this album lacks)

Come and Go - Favorite non single track

All of Me - Solid

Oh shit I just remembered, I liked Come Home With Me lol. That album was more commercial but I just said Purple Haze was better because most fans thought that way. But I think both (50 and Cam) will surprise us this year.

You got that right Nino, one thing I hate about CuDi being with G.O.O.D. is how everybody is gonna visualize him as the next Kanye and his future is gonna be much different than what Kanye had in store for him when first broke out onto the commercial scene.

Does anyone know when Asher Roth's debut album suppose to drop. Reppage for the info

I was listening to that cudi track to and from work today. Pretty good stuff.

I did like Come home with me a little better. I thought he sounded better with the rocafella vibe.

May 26th, one week after Eminem's Relapse is suppose to drop.

One sad debut that will be.

EDIT: Proof that Charles Hamilton sucks.

I thought the white kid was goofy until I saw what CH was wearing.

Two things, no three things.

Anyone else cringe everytime the white kid stuttered?
What does the pugilistic mean?
And "Roll up in a ball like Sonic" FTW!!

Damn, well you cant expect everyone to be on top of there game every day but that white dude got him good. I wish they would of showed Charles face at the other dudes punchlines. Charles's lines weren't even decent though.

With that being said I still think hes a pretty good freestyler.

I thought hamiltons was a lot better. But it was he wasn't even trying. The white kid was pretty much just talking, with his friends laughin at his lines. Hamiltons wasn't really battle rapping though.

Anyone remember the Dugeon Family ALbum?

Aquemini is a 5 mic classic according to the source. I actually just got the full album about 6 months ago. Very good album. The Dungeon Family album is pretty good. It flew way under the radar, but its got some tracks to check out on it.

I thought his album was suppose to drop in April, like the 20th or 21st or something. I don't remember what site I was on but I thought for sure it was April.

EDIT: I googled when it's suppose to drop and got this....
