2009 WWE Draft announced

Your see Orton and Edge on the same show? Who would be top heel on Smackdown....Trips?.... Or Jericho?

I think Trips would go to Raw... so therefore maybe Orton, but I still want him to have a face run, don't ask why

I really think that if Edge were to come to RAW you'de pretty much need to send Orton to Smackdown. Which really wouldn't work unless you move Legacy as a whole at this point. They would also need to set up some fallout between Edge and Vickie.

(BTW...couldn't this thread be in General WWE Discussion? I mean...it was announced on the official website...so it's really not a spoiler.)

Yeah it definately does. I really don't think switching Orton and Edge would do too much right now though.

Idk I posted it here just to be safe I mean really its news and this is for news and rumors. I mean when a wrestler dies we post it here even thought its on wwe.com.

I suppose...perhaps a little closer to the actual draft it would be better in the official thread.....anyway.

There is no reason in hell ECW can't be an amazing fuckin show. Why not disperse some of the random jobbers from ECW amongst RAW and SD and add some big fuckin named to ECW on this draft. The show is only as good as the people on it. I've always been baffled by the fact that WWE is content to have an A, B and C show isntead of making every show as good as they possibly can.

Could you see what ECW would be like if maybe Edge, Jericho, and maybe even John Cena were on it. 3 Big names right there. Fans would complain at first but I mean think about how ECW might boost in ratings from it.

Nah...it doesn't even have to be Cena and Jericho big. Hell...adding CM Punk back to the mix would give the show a huge boost right now. Big Show, Umaga.

Well I mean ECW needs star power IMO. Some people who can bring in the ratings. IMO I say just have ECW be where anyone from the roster can go and have it where your only Raw or SD. Sorta where ECW can have it so you interpromtoal matches but not each week just every so often. But they could use ECW to build feuds of Raw and SD more. Also maybe use it for the stars who hardly get any TV time.

If ECW were to move off of Sci-fi, they'd get treated better. SD has a loyal following from years past and faith from Vince and Co. which makes up for it's crappy network. Just change ECW's name and move it to a decent network, then you could swing a Cena, Jericho, Orton on there.

And they still won't get jobbers in the draft, just a small amount of mid-carders.

Yeah... I never meant HUGE names like Cena, Jericho, Edge. Hell no. But just guys who are fuckin over. There NEEDS to be guys who are over there in order to get the other guys over...it's kind of a cycle.
