Jericho fights with fan? *Video*

The following is from a house show report on Wrestling Observer:

After the show outside the arena, there was some sort of altercation between Jericho and a female fan. I was not there to witness this, but from what I was told by people who saw it, as Jericho was driving out of the arena, a female fan jumped on top of his car. Jericho rolled down the window to yell at the fan and she spat at him. Jericho got out of his car and spit back at the female fan. The female fan's boyfriend then ran in and threw a punch at Jericho. I had also heard that the female fan kicked Jericho in the knee as well. At this point, security jumped in and tried to restrain all three. Jericho apparantely pushed past security and tackled the female fan down to the ground.

The police showed up about 10 minutes after all this happened (even though the police station is right behind the arena). Jericho had left before they arrived. There were a lot of people capturing what happened on their phones and some of them were showing the police the footage when they arrived.

Im not going to stand up for Jericho and what he did, but I got to agree with Kizza ... some fans just need to learn to back the fuck off.

I remember some douchebag at my first live event doing something similiar. He abused every wrestler that was walking onto the bus about not coming to sign the autographs, and when Punk and Kofi did, he yelled at them for not signing his. He even tried to throw himself in front of the bus when it left :nonono:

At least Jericho stayed in character. :D

To me, it seems as if Jericho was going after the boyfriend and instead he got the girl.

The funny thing is that Jericho was fighting back and actually spat in her face as well.

Jericho's my new hero. But really though, he can't possibly get in any type of legal trouble can he? Because he was provoked through-out the whole thing by numourous people. I mean I'm sure some people are going to sue, but I doubt that can/will win the case.

Jericho's not at fault here, to be honest. Just another case of a wrestling fan being an idiot... And then they wonder why other people look down on them.
