I think the Raw chamber will just be a showcase for MR Cena, he will look great, invincible and then Orton will look like the biggest threat to him, and we have our well built main event at WM

Heh...unless Kane puts his mask back on and destroys half of the RAW roster next week a guy who has been jobbing to Mysterio for the past month really does come across as a threat to the title IMO.
But having a match like that just to showcase one guy imo will be dumb. Wouldn't that turn people away from it? Nobody in that chamber has any type of build up or pose the slightest threat towards Cena and beating him. Not at the moment anyway as I don't know when the ppv is. The only one that it would seem would be Jericho, but lately what has he done. He refused to wrestle a match one week, the next week he gets fired, the week after that he comes back and Steph makes him look like a punk, next week he beats CM Punk in a qualifier, and then loses to Cena recently. Look at the others, Kingston has done nothing but float around since losing the tag titles, Knox has been beating up Rey for like the past month or two, Kane's been floating around and jobbing, and Rey I honestly don't know. They should have be making these guys pose more of a threat toward Cena.

It makes perfect sense. These guys are all mid to upper midcarders, and one main eventer. What are you going to do leading into Mania..have Cena go superman on HBK, Orton, JBL and others who they're also trying to build. This is going to help Cena look really strong going into Mania against another guy (Orton) who they've been hyping the fuck out of for the past few months. And honestly... is it really going to hurt Kofi fucking Kingston, Rey, Kane or Knox to take a pin to Cena? Hell no.
The only reason the Smackdown chamber is more stacked with talent is because unlike RAW, they're still building towards an unknown match at Mania. They need to use the Chamber to set up story lines. RAW simply needs to make Cena look strong heading in to face Orton.

^^^Whilst what you're saying is fundamentally true....
1. For me it only serves as further argument as to why the ECs at NWO are a bad idea...
2. Without a percieved threat in a match, generally speaking, the match ain't shit.
Jericho v Cena in a blow-off gimmick match of some kind at the RR and then Cena v JBL(w/HBK) (as per the RR) at NWO would have serve Raw just fine this year.

It's not whether or not it'll hurt these guys being pinned by Cena, but in a match like this, there needs to be belief that the other guys actually pose a threat in taking the title from Cena, and none of them have that. None of them have any momentem in winning this match.
And as you said, this is going to help Cena look strong. But would that really make Cena look that strong defended his World title in a match agasint all mid cards? It would be different if any of them posed an actual threat but they don't.

Agreed Airfixx. However sadly they made the shitty decision of going with the chamber so...womp womp. There are still guys with nothing to do at Mania and individual matches definately would have been the way to go. If anything...perhaps a chamber would have benefited ECW this year. I'm sure it would have been much more of a draw than Swagger/Finlay in a singles match. It would have also given some of these guys some time to shine.
