I did think about that possibility but town FH/scum doc makes a lot less sense from a balancing and generally from a fun standpoint - FH is the "counter" role so it would be more natural to be on scum to screw with the doctor, rather than town doing the screwing

This ambiguity over whether there is a doc in the first place is why I always write roles that are dependent on other roles as "You know there is an X in the game" etc.

yes, thats how the role works. thats the point of it
however if there is no doctor then there is nothing to cancel you out, ergo you'd be the de facto doctor

you could argue town having both would be pretty damn OP, since the chance of them protecting the exact same person on the same night is slim, and having 2 protects running around is pretty crazy. i think the most likely scenario is 1 is town, 1 is scum or there is only 1 total

Not really, they work the same but in the opposite direction lol. If town have the FH they use it like a doctor, and a doctor can try and target the same player in the same was as if scum had the FH. It doesnt make a difference unless you care about the LORE

Well I have bias since I know I am healer. I assume based on wording of role that doctor also exists. Not sure if town or wolf
