Think age has to play a factor on the Brad injury too. I broke my arm when I was in my early 20s, and I was healed up and back to normal pretty quick. Did it again in my mid-30s, and it was a totally different process. Not saying he won't be ready for Daytona, but there's no way he's 100%.

I just saw the news of Denny Hamlins parents house catching on fire yesterday. The parents got out of the house but apparently one person has since died. That really sucks. Wouldn't be surprised if there is some effort to put fire hydrants in that area now.

I’ve got my expectations low as the ground, So whatever they have come up with for the announcement i won't be shocked.

I'm guessing they will do like a 3 race championship thing toward the end of the season. If they do something like that then I guess it would be better than the 3-3-3-1 playoff format. Id love for them to do a full season points crowning the champion but I feel like at this point no chance that is happening.

Edit: Also I am sure what is factoring in to this decision is the O'Reilly Series and Truck series championships. Interested in what happens in those series as the playoff format in those series was a little different from the cup series.
