Low Ki is backstage at tonight's Florida Championship Wrestling event. No doubt this will further speculation that he will be coming in to WWE, especially after he dropped New Japan Pro Wrestling's IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship this past Sunday.

Low Ki to the WWE would be... meh. Awesome if they used him well though.

Neely in FCW is... meh. Awesome if he had no talent though. Oh wait...

If they don't let Ki work stiff then it won't be the same Ki.

Sounds like WWE is bout to sign a pornstar lol.

I think WWE will mess him up. His style may get changed and his unique moveset. Isn't most of his moves band in WWE?

Low Ki is awesome but the chances of WWE letting him turn into a major star seem to be slim to none.

That Japanese highflyer?

Nice decision, they can make good use of him on television.

But will they?

I'd be very interested to see what WWE would do with Low Ki, and if they'd let him keep wrestling the stiff style that he does (doubt it). There could be some interesting match ups for him with the E, Low Ki vs Punk/Low Ki vs Evan Bourne come to mind for me. But quite honestly, if he does end up in WWE, I doubt he'll get much of a push, and I'll be damned if they let him use all the moves he's doing right now.

According to his website, Low-ki.com, former TNA X-Division and Tag Team Champion Low Ki has signed with WWE. Here is the announcement:

It is with great excitement that we announce "The World Warrior" LOW-KI has joined World Wrestling Entertainment! Speculation had been in circulation after he participated in a non televised match November 4, 2008. Nothing was confirmed or reported, since it was assumed that he was still contractually obligated to compete in New Japan Pro Wrestling and was the IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion. After NJPW's "Wrestle Kingdom" events, contract negotiations begin for the new year. Terms apparently were not agreed upon and in his debut match, LOW-KI was victorious, putting away Florida Championship Wrestling's Trent Berretta with the "Warrior's Way". Words cannot describe the excitement we feel here and we would like to congratulate "The World Warrior" on his incredible success!

That's great news, I just hope they make good use of him and don't waste his talent.

They'll tone down down his moveset, but they'll let the essence of it remain.

Why are most people so cynical bearing in mind how WWE treated the last high-flyer that debuted? (i.e. Bourne)

Anybody want to speculate on what they'll change his ring name to?
