So I've been thinking about alternate history a lot lately, and so I present an idea for an alternate 1936, where after two major world wars (The King Wars 1904-1909; The Great War 1916-1920), here's the current look of Europe. There's some key events dating back to the Medieval period for anyone who is curious, ask me any question.

I see some Neo-Byzantine stuff going on, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth getting more members, and is that a Sami state?? A little sad to still see Russia intact but you can't have everything

I'm working on doing a split with Russia:

Tsar Nicholas gets deposed during the Great War, the Cossacks declare independent Ukraine, and Lenin takes over. So after the treaty of Versailles you have: Soviet Russia, the Tsardom of Byelorussia (with Nicholas back in power), and Cossack Ukraine (a fascist state in this timeline).

Finally got it finished, here's the look at the world stage in this alternate 1936.

France is actually under the Hanover Dynasty, major change is Henry V of England doesn't die early. So France gets consumed into England, then the Lancaster family usurps France from the Yorks, before Henry VII reconquers France. James Stuart then becomes King of England, France, and Scotland. Charles I gets deposed from the English and Scottish throne in the English civil wars, and continues to fight for his claim in France. He's brought back in the Restoration of 1660, before dying the next year and giving his son Charles II the throne, then Charles' brother James gets England and Scotland deposed in the Glorious Revolution of 1689. He remains King of France, and in a short-lived war comes the Treaty of Caen, where James agrees to allow William of Orange's children inherit when he dies. Anne becomes Queen of France in 1701, and the next year becomes Queen of England and Scotland. She has the Acts of Union with England & Scotland to become Great Britain in 1707, and then things continue onwards.

For George III, he gets deposed in France twice. Once by the Jacobites in aid of the USA (which is why they exist in this timeline), and the second because of the French Revolution. After the deposition of Napoleon Bonaparte in 1814, George IV, son of George III, is granted the title of King of France, allowing France to fall back into the Hanoverian dynasty peacefully.

When we get to William IV, his daughter Victoria inherits Great Britain, while William's younger brother Ernest Augustus inherits France and Hanover. George V (Ernest I's son), loses Hanover to Prussia in 1866. Then, in 1904, Edward VI declares war on France to press his claim to the Kingdom of France, which leads to the first World War (AKA The King's War).

Allies of BritainAllies of France
- German Empire
- Portugal
- Greco-Roman Empire
- Austro-Hungarian Empire
- The Netherlands
- Denmark
- Canada
- Italy
- Spain
- Russian Empire
- Poland-Lithuania
- Belgium
- Sweden
- Norway
- Ottoman Empire

The King's War would end with the Treaty of Berlin, in which Edward gave up his claim, and simultaneously, Edward would split Canada and Great Britain apart. With George V gaining Great Britain, and Edward's nephew Alfred Alexander (Son of the Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha) would become King Alfred I of Canada. That's the basic timeline of things for France & England.

I'll explain Eastern Europe at a later date.
