Villagers i think is the word meant lol there's definitely a limitation, just not sure 55 is right. If you look on the codex there's that survivor tab which should all be recruitable but there's also sections for biomes and a lot of those people are as well, but some are wanderers

That would probably add up then because I did cut loose around 3 or 4 last night, so that would make sense that we'd now have just that handful of open slots

Like I know right now I got a chest full of stuff in Blazy Town i found while exploring over there. including the chest that I just tore down where it was, and rebuilt in my small little town.
