Good point. Just feels like the 'ol reliable superstar vs civilian match where somehow that civilian comes out on top. Thinking about the John Lauranitis match hahaha

Yeah, I agree.

Not sure how controversial this is, but I haven't had a chance to say how much I kind of hated the finish of the Jey match. To have Gunther tap to his own move after his nearly yearlong build to be such a strong heel powerhouse? Makes no sense.

Sure, have him get pinned clean. But having "nobody thinks he has a chance" Jey Uso make him tap to the sleeper. Is so totally ridiculous. Gunther is now at rock bottom. A squash vs Pat McAfee ain't what I had in mind, lol.

We'll find out some lil hint of the outcome by what happens on raw this week as it's usually an indication of what's gonna happen on the PLE. Just how I judge I guess .

Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio vs. Penta​

Whether he likes it or not, Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio will battle Penta in a highly anticipated rematch for the title at WWE Backlash.

"Dirty" Dom captured the gold in an explosive Fatal 4-Way Match against then-titleholder Bron Breakker, Finn Bálor and Penta at WrestleMania, but Penta wasn't pinned. Mysterio retained the title against Penta one-on-one the following night on the Raw after WrestleMania, but JD McDonagh returned and interfered in the title fight to help Mysterio win.

And now that the explosive Penta has defeated McDonagh, he is again turning his attention to unseating Mysterio and becoming champion.

Many of Mysterio's antics cloud the fact that he is a dangerous Superstar once the bell rings, but can he overcome Penta and his explosive arsenal? Will The Judgment Day be on the same page, particularly with Liv Morgan away making a movie?

Like this a lot. Dom retains as he's not gonna lose this soon but a long feud with both guys will be just what WWE fans are hoping for.

This will come just three weeks after WrestleMania and unless you're going to do several WrestleMania rematches, you need more time to develop since there is a lot of WrestleMania fallout the first week.

Got a feeling Goldberg will come out and we get a match this year between Gunther and Bill. Probably be Crown Jewel or Clash of Champions. Gunther is on his way back and I think he's going too destroy pat in minutes . Pats promos for this have been well worth watching.

Build up has been poor tbh but I think all the matches will be fun.
