Yeah it's just like.. uh...

Unlike some, I'm excited for Cena and Orton, more so the build and story, than the match. I feel they need to add a stip to it for the match to be good. But like, Logan Paul getting a World Title match? No thanks... don't wanna see Gunther wasted in a match against Pat. I don't wanna see Becky win the IC Title. People complain about Charlotte coming back and being shoved right into a title feud, but it's no better with Becky. Only difference is being a midcard title, after winning the tag titles right away. While people who were here busting their ass get pushed to the side for her. Same shit Charlotte did. Dumb.

I think it being Orton's home town will carry that one a lot, it was actually one of the only heel Cena outcomes I was cool with when I started seeing rumors but also only bc it's St Louis. Will be more heat I'm sure but they should be fun

I'm excited for it, because of the role reversals. Like I've joked how Cena has to attack Bob Orton but obviously that's not happening. But I do want to see what happens.


One thing that I saw suggested lol was Cena slapping the ref to get a DQ, much like Orton did in one of their matches. But idk if having two shit finishes back to back is a good idea.

What will make it awkward is, MITB is where the Raw Netflix debut was right? That was built as his last time in LA....and if he goes back, all them shirts people bought will now be useless and a lie.

Yeah switching the traditional dynamic certainly helps . Tho almost a shame if it's a one off.

Yeah I think it’ll be fun to see tbh and more of a spectacle than anything else. The story plus with the history between them, the roles reversed, and it being in Orton’s hometown make it interesting. Also, I’m still enjoying Cena’s heel run and him mixing it up with Orton one more time was something I had wanted when he announced his retirement tour.

As a Cena fan, I'm really fucking excited to see it in person. This will likely be the last time I see him wrestle live unless there's another PLE stop around the midwest before the year is out. Gonna enjoy it. I'm hella excited for that cool ass stripped down entrance and his hilarious ring announcement.

Regarding the "slap the ref to get a DQ," it really would track with the "I'm going to ruin wrestling" bit. I think it would be hilarious af and kind of awesome. I can see the promo's right now.

As Cena tells the fans to "shut up," on the show after... "Randy Orton punted my dad while I watched. Randy Orton shamed me for the personal choice of not having children. Randy Orton is so desperate to win a championship that he raised the belt -I- earned at WrestleMania over his head. Randy Orton... like all of you... deserves NOTHING from me."

I guess I might be writing fan fiction now.

Personally, I thought the only disappointing thing about the Cena vs Rhodes match was the lack of Rock. It was dumb that he didn't show. If he was never going to show to Mania, they should have involved him in the Heyman storyline and just let John turn heel on his own.

If I choose to ignore the fact that it's weird Travis Scott showed up without The Rock, the match itself was good. Not great, but a solid 3.5/5. But the mark in me was still elated at witnessing history.

Yeah the match itself was fine for what my expectations were until the Travis Scott walk-in. It's not like I was expecting to be blown away and Cena looked rough at times but never bad enough it detracted. Ending was just atrocious
