Exodus Part 2 Review

Punk promo- Great promo. I actually think that it might have been better without the second paragraph.

4 Way for Tag Belts- 7 Man Suplex = awesome spot. Springboard high five = awesomest spot. I did not really think that the champs would retain. Pretty good match overall, but I was expecting more of a spotfest.

Homicide promo- About as in character as you can get for a Homicide promo.

Sydal vs. Sky- Awesome match, simply awesome. It had more technical wrestling than I expected it to. Sweeney was used perfectly. I always love seeing Cyclorama used in a match.

Dynasty promo- I can't wait for the Sweet and Sour State of the Union. I'm looking forward to seeing who Sweeney will bring in.

Aries vs. Steen- I like how you had Steen talking through the begining of the match, I've always found it funny that he does that. This has to be match of the night. this was interesting all the way through. Plenty of near falls. I thought that Steen had the match won for sure, but once again you pulled the rug out from under me. Awesome job with this match.

Fatal Four Way- I think that this match might have been a bit better if all four men were active at all times. The match really picked up near the end. This match proved to me that MVP and Burchill belong nowhere near the main event. It was a pretty good match, but at some points it dragged.

APEX promo- Holy crap! I didn't see this coming at all. Your Flair promos are great. Promo of the night for sure.

AC- This was a great show, but I'm kinda suprised that none of the titles changed hands. I'm looking forawrd to the next couple of shows of PRIDE to see how things play out. Once again, great show. If you get the chance check out the other two nights of the Trios Tournament and POI.

 

[The Rated R CMStar]

Opening Tag Match: I was right uh? Great Match. You did a nice work on selling the physicall toll everyone took during the match. Paul London was really on fire in that match. I also liked the chemistry of Burke and Shelton as a team, with such little spots like Shelton cheating behind the back of the referee and leaving his opponent set for Burke's Outer Limitz Elbow Drop.

KOW promo: Nice promo hyping their match. I liked the cheap shot they took at Londrick.

Vulture Squad vs No Remorse: First off, I couldn't get into the match, and the interruption only made me wonder more of who would be the person debuting and took me even further away from the match. However, the finishing sequence drove right back into it. The Tiger Suplex into a chair sounds brutal and the double submission ending was cool.

Steen-Aries promo: Lol at Steen forecasting Flair coming. I liked the confrontation, which made even better an already great promo with only Kevin Steen bragging.

Homicide vs Rave: Again, you had a couple of brutal spots in this one, like the Butterfly Suplex over the guard rail. I am not too fond with the ending, as I think it could have been build better. However, I do like the anticlimatic way Rave turned the match around.

Evans vs Rocky: Nice match that actually went longer than expected. However, by now, in the show there just have been too many wild spots so nothing in this match really shined through me. You did a good work showing the different styles of them both.

Promo: It sounds as AOTF. This promo made me think for a second they were behind all those videos.

Punk: Nice promo. Nothing way over the edge.

Fatal 4 way tag match: I liked that all men were showcased in here, and that even though there was a lot going on, it was all easy to read. The ending makes me think we will see a Londrick vs KOW feud.

Homicide promo: I guess it was in character, but at some points he came across as stupid. Who cares who'll last longer on the streets, he just beat you fair and squair!

Sky vs Sydal: Nice pace for this match. Not taken to the extreme of fast, instead in times kept slow giving it a different approach.

Aries vs Steen: The promo afterwards made me look forward for this match and it didn't dissapoint. I liked the psychology used on it, and Aries winning was unexpected.

Main Event: I think the match could have used another promo during the show to hype itself. The action was good, however the ending, imo, didn't fit the Fatal Four Way

Last Promo: Pure gold. You didn't know what was going on until it happened. I have high hopes for it

 

[Qwake]

Shelton/Elijah Vs London and Kendrick: Good match to open the PPV with, both teams got some good moves in and it flowed nicely. I guess you can be added to the list of people that are pushing Londrick lol, it had a good finish to the long thrilling match. Even though Londrick won Elijah and Shelton looked really good in this match which is what I liked, great opening and I have high hopes for the rest of the PPV!

The Kings of Wrestling promo: Good building promo for their match later in the show, they were in great character and had some good things to say which would get them nice heat. Good interview here and the KoW are a good team who I hope retain, nice building done here.

Vulture Squad Vs No Remorse Corps: Well, looking at this match did not interest me since I am not a fan of these guys but having it be No DQ added a bit of hype. It was an alright match but it just wasn't able to fully interest me, some good spots in the match. It wasn't your writing, just my thoughts on the wrestlers involved lol...

Steamboat/Steen then Aries: Good cockyness there bt Kevin Steen, I liked how this started and it carried on well when Aries came into it. They exchanged some good words building up for what should be an awesome match later in the PPV.

Jimmy Rave Vs Homicide: This was a great match, it was the first singles match of the show and we saw some good wrestling between the two. Both men had their moments in the match and I you really made Homicide look good after kicking out from "Greetings from Guana" and the end to the match was great realing topping it off. Good performance by both men and I can't wait to see where these to go from here on out, Aries/Rave feud could be great for the title but well have to wait and see.

Rave/Nana promo: Alright little after match promo, good and in character and it was basic heel heat which was good. The after attack was interesting, can't wait to see where this goes.

Jack Evans Vs Roddy Strong: Awesome match! It was exciting from the very moment the bell rung, the match flowed greatly and it had alot of epic moments throughout it. The finish was CRAZY and perfect to end it, both had their moments and I wasn't to sure who would win throughout the match until the ending seconds of it. Best match so far and part two looks to be good also!

AOTF promo: Great promo as you would expect from Jimmy Jacobs, I can't wait for there return!

CM Punk promo: Quite basic, Punk was in pretty good character, plain but it gives a little more hype to himself for the Main Event...

4-Way Tag titles match: Great stuff here, every moment was an interesting one. I like matches like this where you can see all these different styles of wrestling in one match, it flowed quite well and had its moments, I am shocked that London was the man to be pinned, after that first win they had on the show I thought you were giving them a good push and would have either made them win the titles or come close but London got pwned lol. Good having the Kings of Wrestling retain, good match!

Homicide interview: Good and in character. I guess we know whats next for Homicide, he wants revenge on Rave which is a good sign if it means we get another match like they had in this show! The feud is going nicely and I can't wait for their future matches...

Matt Sydal Vs Scorpio Sky: Good back and fourth match here, the action was good with alot of high flying stuff which is what you would expect since its for the light heavyweight title lol. It was interesting the whole way through and I am glad that Sydal picked up the win to retain his title in a good match.

The Dynasty: Pretty good promo from what I know of them, nothing awesome but it done what you intended I guess...

Austin Aries Vs Kevin Steen: These two have been the most interesting part of this PPV so far imo except for the build up to the new guy coming in. Their encounters have been great and this match really topped it off! These two work really well together and this matched proved that and more, it had some great spots in it and at times I thought Steen had it but I like Aries winning, and I am looking forward to where they both go from here. Should be good and this could take match of the night!

Main Event: The match was good, it had it's moments but I think you should have made their be more time with three of four guys all in the ring at the same time going at it, alot of it would be two guys then one gets knocked away and a different guy would back etc. The end was alright, would have been better if they all just nailed finishers or something to make it all exciting then have Joe kill them. Burchill and MVP could have been made to look a little better too, it was kind of just Joe and Punk through alot of it imo. Don't get me wrong, the match was still quite good it's just I feel you missed a few little things.

Apex promo: WHOA! I really didn't see this coming at all! That was an awesome promo, best of the PPV and maybe even for the month. So with all of those clues you gave us lead to them all in the same faction, great work HFH! Matt Bentley is awesome so I am an instant fan of this lol. I can't wait to see where you go with this in shows to come.

AC: Great show, the matches were great and the promos were pretty good too, the ending promo was awesome! Great PPV and I will continue to read!

 

[Beer]

CM Punk promo: Simple, Effective and above average promo. Good build up for the Main Event tonight.

4-Way Tag titles match: Good flowing match. Nice ending, good length. I like how every second something new happened. It kept me very interested and very entertained. Chris Hero is a great wrestler, so I am glad he got the pin, and hopefully this will come to a push down the line.

Homicide interview: Sweet promo. Another Rave/Homicide match would be great. I expect to see a good match somewhere down the line.

Matt Sydal Vs Scorpio Sky: Sydal winning is good. Great action, that interested me greatly. Scorpio Sky is a great wrestler too, but I love Sydal too much. There styles were interesting, but worked well.

The Dynasty: Average promo. Simple I guess.

Austin Aries Vs Kevin Steen: This match OBVIOUSLY pushed these guys further up the card, where maybe, Aries more likely as he got the win, a title shot down the line. I really enjoyed this match a lot, great action and it helped bui;d up for the Main Event.

Main Event: Very good match, but not as good as I thought it would be. the build up to the match was good, but there was too much Joe and Punk, imo. Although, I know how difficult it is to not write like it is just Punk and Joe. Those two gel like a knife and fork, it is hard to keep them away from each other

APEX promo: HOLY SHIT! Holy crap man. Promo of the night by a mile. I love Flair, and I love his team partners. I am guessing that he will not be in the ring much, with him more being a manager to the other three.

AC: Loved it. Will continue to review and read. Now you better review UWA Warzone XD

 

[The Leviathan]

Best Match: Once again, there are so many great matches in this PPV and here are my fave ones.

Jack Evans vs. Roderick Strong - You know I really loved reading Hardcore Matches and I do really loved this match. It's not only a hardcore match as you made these guys do their moves. The ending part is really great, I should see the 900 Splash on Youtube, lol...

London&Kendrick vs. The Gold Standards - A great way to start of the match. I really love the L&K team and I enjoyed reading this match as they mix up with Shelton and Burke.

Worst Match: there's none

Best Promo: APEX hands down, this is the biggest Stable Introduction in the section as of today. I loved hating Ric Flair here and I think the three other guys really fit the team as they try to change wrestling. Now, I am wondering how will you put Bentley over, Danielson will be the next PRIDE Champ!

Worst Promo: n/a

Additional Feedback: Another great show H4H, I really digged the APEX part and now I can't wait to see how they dominate the next show and who will they start feuding with. I believe a Steamboat/Flair confrontation will be awesome but just try to face them off on a promo and not on a match . I am looking forward to your next show.

Burke & Benjamin vs Londrick: Great choice for the opener. Fun, fast paced match up and the right team went over.

Hype: I've given up.

KOW Promo: Classic heel promo, worked well at hyping the match.

JTG & Human Tornado vs Davey Richards & Rocky Romero: I've never heard of any of these guys besides JTG, so it was tough to get into it. But once I did, it was a good match with some neat spots. I didn't like the hype in the middle of the match though.

Steen/Dragon/Aries: Nice little segment, managed to put Steen over and hype the match well, I liked the inclusion of Aries. Flair, eh? Now you're just trying to confuse me.

They’re booed heavily, and once they enter the ring, they’re pelted by a massive mob of toilet paper.

Homicide vs :native: Jimmy Rave!: Awesome, my favourite match so far. Rave should be pushed in TNA like this. Great back-and-forth, and the promo/brawl afterwards only added to greatness of this segment.

Hype: Malcolm in the Middle?

Jack Evans vs Roderick Strong: Insane, absolutley insane. Forget about the last one, this has been the best match so far. 900~! Holy fuckmuffins.

Different Hype: AOTF <3

CM Punk Promo: Great promo, best so far. Punk was really in character and it drew me in, too bad WWE can't book him like that.

Hype: It's gotta be Terry Funk.

SUPER CHEST BUMP! CHEA MAN! BOO-YAH (lame word)

Fatal 4 Way: Another solid match with a lot going on. I thought you were going to pull the underdog victory card and have the titles go onto Londrick, but the KOW are still awesome champions. KOW vs Londrick feud?

Hype: :tdk: Batman?

Homicide Promo: Rave vs Homicide again can't be too bad, especially if it's in a Street Fight or something of the like. I love how you've got so many alliances and stables running around in PRIDE, something very different.

Scorpio Sky vs Matt Sydal: Much different to what I anticipated, in a good way. Good match, although I preferred Rave/Cide and Roddy/Evans much more.

Hype: Barrack Obama

Masters – Sweet and Sour Inc needs to hire Chris Masters, I’d whip his guys into shape.

Aries vs Steen: Another solid match-up. Kept me wondering who would win through most of it, and nice psychology.

Sloppy Joe vs Punk vs Burchill vs MVP: I didn't like this match as much as some others on the show, but it was still decent. Dragged on at points and could've used more three/four man action.

APEX: Awesome, awesome, awesome. Nobody saw it coming, it got the whole section talking and this stable looks insane (although HBK > Bentley :shifty.

AC: This show reminded me of how awesome PRIDE is. Every match & promo was good, and the APEX is going to be fucking awesome.

Wrestling World Overview

With a struggling economy, the world of professional wrestling is running wild. Some promotions are at the top of their game right now, while others seem to be slipping into an abyss of no return. With a renewed interest in combat sports, several of the major promotions are putting their best efforts in to produce quality wrestling. In the past year, many things have changed. Joining the ranks of World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is the revived incarnation of Wrestling Society X. There are now 5 weekly television shows featuring the exciting sport and entertainment of professional wrestling. Along with the major promotions, the Independent scene could be entering a Renaissance period, a time to flourish after a period of darkness. The world is watching. Wrestling could be entering a period of great success, or an era of disappointments. With the fate of the entire professional wrestling industry hanging in the balance, only the strong will survive.

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

-The WWE has been the number one wrestling company for nearly a decade. Ever since the retiring of both Vince & Linda McMahon during the summer of 2007, the company has been in cruise control. With Shane & Stephanie now at the head of the Company, things have mostly stayed the same. Other than the Young Talent Purge of 2007 and the new Velocity show, things have been the same. John Cena still remains as the face of the entire WWE. Veterans such as Undertaker and Triple H have been consistent at delivering quality matches. But after an exciting summer which included Chris Jericho becoming World Heavyweight Champion by cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, things have regressed. Fans seem to be tired of seeing the same faces on every brand. The creative team is trying to fix this problem. Going into the New Year, more is being expected from the powerful promotion.

Raw

-With John Cena as the brand’s top face, Raw continues to strive. During his injury, Batista had some interesting feuds, to say the least. Young stars like Ted DiBiase, R-Truth and Kofi Kingston continue to develop. John Bradshaw Layfield has been feuding with Jeff Hardy, who has met his share of distractions out of the ring. With both Shane and Stephanie McMahon making frequent appearances, the show often runs wild. Still, the Raw brand is one of the most watched shows in America. But recent ratings have shown a drop, and WWE Creative is trying to salvage the brand instead of unleashing a major overhaul on Monday Nights.

-On the blue brand, the Game reigns supreme. Though he recently lost his WWE Championship to Chris Jericho, he still remains as the top player on Smackdown. Meanwhile, The Outsiders have made their way to the WWE, and are back to wreck, though older. The Undertaker is currently in a feud with Christian, who is now aligned with Edge. Youth isn’t as big a factor here, with established stars performing well on the brand. Vickie Guerrero is still the General Manager, and she’s using her position to give Edge the best.

-ECW seems to be the top “wrestling” show in the WWE, showcasing younger talent. With the return of Bobby Lashley to the WWE, he has become a strong force. Kevin Thorn has come to be a surprise, brutalizing his opponents and rising to the top fairly quickly. Fan favorites like Matt Hardy and Tommy Dreamer are still fighting in the land of extreme, trying to teach younger superstars. Theodore Long recently activated the ECW Television Championship, and a tournament was recently held to decide the champion.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling

-TNA has never experienced more success. They have broken to 1.5 in the ratings. This is due to a strengthened Women’s Division, and exciting X Division. Their combination of younger and older stars has helped them develop a strong and loyal fanbase. Vince Russo is still booker for the company, which many on the Internet are still angered about. Stars like Kurt Angle and Sting are experiencing a revival in their careers. Samoa Joe has faded into the background while this happens. Things look to be improving for the Florida based promotion, which will embark on their first live taping tour in the New Year.

Wrestling Society X

-Many people remember Wrestling Society X as the half hour MTV Show that proved to be in over its head. The first and only season of Wrestling Society X showed an edge and an attitude never before seen, which was deemed too aggressive for the blind MTV Viewers and Wrestling Fans. WSX was revived by none other than Paul Heyman, becoming the main booker, the leader that will try to lead a new wrestling cult. Many people have speculated that he’s lost his mind since his removal from WWE, while others eagerly await his next move. His new promotion will be financed by none other than legendary rockstar Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses, who wants to bring a dark, alternative edge to wrestling. His perfectionist attitude inspired him to create the most exciting, raw roster he possibly could. The company has been promoting shows throughout the West Coast, awaiting their television debut. Much like the original ECW, all WSX matches are contested under No Holds Barred rules. The company is divided into two subdivisions, Extreme Television and Wrestling Society X Underground.

Extreme Television
-As implied by the title, Extreme Television is the television portion of Wrestling Society X. This show is broadcast on Fuse Television, with a two hour, Saturday evening timeslot. With a nice combination of both past, present, and future superstars, each wrestler has an extreme edge to themselves. The promotion has yet to broadcast a show, with the debut occurring on the first week of 2009. They will tape a month’s worth of episodes in one week in Hollywood. Hardcore Legend Terry Funk has already been selected as the Commissioner of Extreme Television. Several titles have already been crowned at live events.

-WSX Underground is the touring roster of Wrestling Society X. They do not have the television time of Extreme, but their shows can be viewed online, like Pro Wrestling PRIDE. Ring of Honor

-Ring of Honor is by far the most popular independent wrestling promotion. Through word of mouth by loyal fans, the promotion has been able to make several positive strides. But with success comes some problems. The company is in a period of transition, due to head booker Gabe Sapolsky being dismissed from the company. The roster is trying to adapt to a new style, which some call more “entertainment” based. But they still try to bring amazing in ring action on live events and Pay-Per View. Ring of Honor has risen to the top of independent wrestling, and they wish to break the glass ceiling into the mainstream in the future.

-At Exodus, Austin Aries retained his International Title after a hard fought contest with Mr. Wrestling, Kevin Steen. It was a match which many people admired. Ever the fighting champion, Aries wants to defend the title against anyone. The arrogant champion says himself, “I don’t care who the hell wants a title shot I’ll kill them all one by one.†The challengers, Jimmy Rave and Homicide have had their battles as well. Those two men engaged in a heated contest at Exodus, where Jimmy Rave emerged as the winner. Though he won the match, he used dirty tactics to win. The Notorious 187 vowed revenge against Rave, and could get his redemption this week. At the next PRIDE show, all 3 of these men are aiming for one thing, the PRIDE International Title. Who will be down for the count, and who will have their hand raised as the champion?

Ken Dykstra vs Paul Burchill
-At Exodus, Paul Burchill competed in the Main Event match for the PRIDE Championship. Though he came up short, Burchill impressed the PRIDE fans. Reassessing his goals, Burchill now will take his aim at becoming PRIDE International Champ. Unlike Paul Burchill, Ken Dykstra wasn’t even featured at Exodus. But wanting to prove the doubters wrong, he wants a strong showing in his match. Both Burchill and Dykstra need to prove their value to their fans, and winning the International Title could be just that. But first, they need to win their contender’s match. Whether Austin Aries, Homicide or Jimmy Rave is International Champ, both Burchill & Dykstra will battle it out to become the Number One Contender.

Paul London vs Matt Cross vs Chuck Taylor
-Matt Sydal retained his PRIDE Light Heavyweight Championship at Exodus in an exciting, fast paced contest against Scorpio Sky. Now Matt Sydal is in search of some new contenders. Ricky Steamboat has planned for the big title match to be a Three Way Dance. The contenders will be decided this week, in a triple threat match, where there will be two winners, and one loser. Both winners will go on to face Matt Sydal, while the loser goes home to nothing. All three competitors in this match represent different styles in Junior Heavyweight Wrestling. But with all those differences, they all will come together at PRIDE to find out who could be the next PRIDE Light Heavyweight Champion.

Pro Wrestling PRIDE Showcase Match
Kevin Steen & El Generico vs Gran Akuma & Icarus
-From now on, Pro Wrestling PRIDE will feature Showcase matches, with members of other wrestling federations receiving a tryout for Pro Wrestling PRIDE competition. This week, team FIST of Gran Akuma & Icarus will get their shot to impress PRIDE officials. These two have competed as a team in several wrestling promotions, including Wrestling Society X and Chikara. They will face off against the team of Kevin Steen & El Generico. At Exodus, Kevin Steen came very close to becoming PRIDE International Champion, but he lost in an exhilarating match with Austin Aries. Now Steen will try to climb up the tag ranks with his partner, El Generico. These two have gained notoriety as a tag team in promotions such as Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and the new Wrestling Society X. Now these teams will face off, with pride and respect on the line.

Sweet & Sour State of the Union Address
-At Exodus, Larry Sweeney’s Dynasty of Scorpio Sky, Joey Ryan and Scott Lost failed to earn a victory. This infuriated the Super Agent Sweeney, who was irate and disappointed in his clients. So at this week’s PRIDE Show, Sweeney will address the fans, or the “PRIDE Nation†on the events to come. What will Sweet & Sour have up his sleeve?


PRIDE Notes
-The Apex made a memorable debut at Exodus, shocking the entire wrestling world. They definitely will have something to say this week, and it sure will be another earth shaking statement. But the question is, what will they say?

-The Age of The Fall’s suspension has been served. They will be at the show, but it is unknown what role they will play.

-With his win at Exodus, Jack Evans also qualified for an International Title Shot. He and the winner of the Dykstra/Burchill match will face the International Champion at the next MTV Special.

-The next MTV Special will be called Breakout. The event will take place in Chicago Ridge, Illinois in the Frontier Fieldhouse.

-Pro Wrestling PRIDE received rave reviews for their MTV Special, Exodus. MTV Executives were said to be satisfied with the content of the show. The rating was said to be an improvement from Uprising.

-The PRIDE locker room seems to be content with the introduction of Ric Flair to PRIDE.

-For the next shows, PRIDE will be using different opening music. This change is nothing major, but it’s said to reflect the show and its overall emotion.

Industry Notes
-Wrestling Society X filmed their first month of television shows for Fuse. The show will debut Saturday afternoon before the PRIDE Online Video Stream.

-TNA seems to be in a bit of a slump, as evident by the most recent shows. They plan on cutting back financially to prevent anything major happening.

-Chris Jericho seems unhappy with his current WWE Situation.

-FCW, the developmental system of the WWE, seems to be in a bit of a transition, with the changing of bookers.

-Ring of Honor recently held their Final Battle weekend shows. The shows were said to be phenomenal, and gives a boost to the morale of the company in transition.

As soon as the music dies down, Also Sprach Zarathrusta starts to play throughout the arena to a mixed reaction. The APEX of Ric Flair, Matt Bentley, Teddy Hart and Bryan Danielson walk to the ring, all wearing suits. They get into the ring, and raise their hands. Flair grabs a microphone from the side, and begins to speak.

Flair – WOOOOO! The era of the APEX will begin right here, tonight! The last time you saw us, at Exodus, I got to introduce the future dominant force of Pro Wrestling PRIDE. Tonight, and in the upcoming weeks, you’ll see just why these 3 men will save wrestling and save this promotion. Right now, we’re going to do some calling out. We’re going to lay the groundwork for what is to come. So first, let me call out none other than my former nemesis and friend. He is the Commissioner of this place, Ricky Steamboat, get out here right now!

Sirius plays to cheers from the crowd. Ricky Steamboat walks to the ring, looking cautiously concerned. He goes through the ropes, and is immediately confronted by The APEX.

Flair – Now let me tell you something right now Steamboat. We demand respect! We are not going to just be sitting here and waiting for our day to come. We don’t need to earn our title shots, because we can make any match we want. You can call it unfair, you can call it whatever the hell you want. But when you have the wrestling equivalent to pure gold standing in the ring with you, there really is nothing else for you to do. So why don’t you write up a match for us, and make it for the gold.

Steamboat – I know that you guys can walk in with all this cockiness, but I just can’t do that. There are so many other guys that deserve a shot at the belt, that is unfair, and really, what you’re doing is uncalled for.

Hart – Bullshit! You already know that the APEX, the best in the business, will be taking any title you put us in. No matter who the hell we’re fighting, we’re going to take those sorry mother fuckers out. We’re going to be taking those goddamn titles away from the champions, and if you won’t let us get a shot, we’ll make you put is in a title match.

Steamboat – You know what, I really didn’t have anything planned, but to avoid you 4 guys from moaning about it for the next couple of weeks like some other teams, I’m going to give you what you want. Any combination of Danielson, Hart, or Bentley will get their shot at the Pro Wrestling PRIDE Tag Team Titles. But tonight, you’re going to have to beat another team to get your title match. Tonight, any 2 of you will have to take on Ace Steel & Colt Cabana, the Second City Saints. If you win, you get your title shots. But if you lose, I guess you didn’t live up to your own hype. How does that sound, Naitch?

Flair – Oh, you’ve got your match alright. My team will beat Steel & Cabana easily, because those two fools are nothing compared to the APEX. They’re insignificant, so it’s no big deal at all. They don’t even stand a chance at ever having the talent of the APEX. So Teddy Hart & Matt Bentley, at the next MTV Show, take those titles away, and show everyone what you’ve got. I’d never thought I’d ever see two people so close to Michaels & Bret team up, but this is for the gold. Those rivalries don’t matter anymore, you two can share your time at the top with the one and only Nature Boy. WOOOOO!

Steamboat – You two better get ready right now, because your match is coming up soon.

Danielson – Whoa, hold on a second there Steamboat. Do you really want to leave the Best in the World just standing here? I don’t want to be put in a random match where I won’t get a chance at a title. These fans will see just why I’m here if you put me in a match, and we’ll be going wild when I get my title shot.

Flair – You know that I was about to mention you, Bryan, you’ll get your title shot. Steamboat, sign this guy up on the list, get his name engraved on the belt. That’s because he’s more than ready to take Pro Wrestling PRIDE gold very soon. He’s proven everywhere else that he isn’t a bitch like Samoa Joe, and he will be the best champion of all time. Wait, second best, because you already know who the greatest is.

Steamboat – No he won’t. I already gave you guys a tag title shot, and you should be happy with that. I have a whole list of guys that want a shot at the Lightweight, PRIDE, and International belts, so unless you do something magical right now, I don’t think that title shot is going to happen this time Flair.

Danielson – Wow, I just have a feeling that you’re a little too old now. Or maybe getting beaten by the Nature Boy a couple hundred times hurt your head, so you’re delusional. Let me say it again, loud and clear. I’m the BEST IN THE WORLD. I deserve a title shot, just look at my name. Look at all the great matches I’ve been in, and try to prove me wrong. There’s no way that I’m not championship material.

The Champ is Here to plays to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Samoa Joe walks to the ring, with the PRIDE Championship belt on his shoulder. He gets into the ring, posing for the crowd. He takes a mic, and is about to speak. Ric Flair cuts him off.

Flair – Hold on a second there big brother, this is our time to talk. We’re making the deals right now, and we don’t need to be interrupted by you. We don’t care if you’re the Champion, we’ll be taking that belt in a little while, just a heads up.

Joe – Who said that you can do whatever you want? But to be honest with you, I’m fine with you guys coming here, if getting beaten is what you like. I just heard that Danielson over here won’t be getting a title shot.

Danielson – Exactly, I want my title match. Joe, you know that we can put on a good match, and you know that I can beat you at any time I want. You can say that you’ve improved, but you’re still not the Best in the World. You could be the best wrestler among a bunch of 40 year old washed up guys on Spike TV, but you’re nothing compared to me and the Apex.

Joe – Bryan, it seems like your head has gotten a little big because of Ric Flair. You’re still as plain and as small as ever, so I can see that things haven’t changed that much.

Danielson – I don’t care about what you have to say about my size, Mr. Tons of Fun. I want a shot at your belt, to prove that I’m better than you, once again. I want to take that belt of yours Joe, because you were just here all along, keeping it warm for me.

Steamboat – I’m sorry to break it to you again Danielson, but you’re going to have to wait. I already set up a REMATCH of JOE and PUNK for the next MTV Special, so there’s nothing I can do about it.

The fans cheer loudly after hearing the Joe vs Punk announcement.

Joe – You know what Steamboat, I actually am going to defend Danielson here. I’ll never become the type of Champion that ignores every great opportunity. I am a fighting champion. If he wants a match, he’ll get it. Even though he won’t be going anywhere, I’ll show him and his little gang that I can beat anyone. So Danielson, I’m up for your challenge. How does that sound?

Danielson – Right here, right now Joe, let’s go. I’m always ready to take that belt from you.

Steamboat – We’re not going to have that match tonight. I already know that it’s a match thousands of people would pay to watch. So instead, the match for the next MTV Special will be a triple threat match! It will be the Pro Wrestling PRIDE Champion, Samoa Joe versus the Straight Edge Star, CM Punk versus the American Dragon, Bryan Danielson!

Flair – That’s fine Steamboat. I knew that with a little force, we can always get what we want. Just wait Ricky. You don’t even know what we’re going to do next. This is only the start of our dominance. WOOOOOOO!

The members of the Apex exit the ring, except for Bryan Danielson. Danielson and Samoa Joe stare each other down, exchanging heated words towards each other.

Malenko – What an amazing way to start off this week’s Pro Wrestling PRIDE broadcast. The Apex came, and they got what they wanted.
Masters – That’s exactly what they’ll have to do, and they can make anyone listen and obey them.
Simon – We already have the big main event for the next MTV Special signed. It’s going to be Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson, and CM Punk in a match that we probably won’t get out of our heads.
Malenko – Right now, we’re going to have another match set for the next MTV Show. Ken Dykstra and Paul Burchill be going at it one on one, in a quest to become number one contender for Austin Aries’ International Title.

Buffer – The following contest is a singles match, scheduled for one fall! There will be a 30 minute time limit, and the winner will become the number one contender for the International Title!

Superbeast starts to play. Kenny Dykstra busts through the curtain, full of energy. He walks to the ring, slapping hands with the fans, saying that he needs to win the match.

Buffer – First, from Worcester, Massachusetts, Kenny Dykstra!

Immigrant Song blasts through the speakers. Paul Burchill appears on the entrance stage, looking serious. He makes his way down the aisle, stretching.

Buffer – His opponent, from Chelsea, England, Paul Burchill!

PRIDE International Title
Paul Burchill vs Kenny Dykstra

*Bell Rings*

Dykstra and Burchill slap hands as the bell rings, a show of their respect for each other. They lock up to start, and Burchill overpowers Ken. Dykstra is backed up into the turnbuckles. Paul now starts to open up with forearms to his opponent, but Dykstra covers up. Kenny comes back with a shoulder thrust to the gut, stopping the attack of his opponent. Burchill steps back after the attack, and Dykstra capitalizes by locking Paul in a tight wristlock. Burchill holds onto the top rope for help, and he flips backwards, freeing himself. Burchill now has control, and snaps Dykstra’s arm down, releasing the hold afterwards. Dykstra grimaces in pain and Burchill follows up with a hard European uppercut. Dykstra holds his jaw, and Burchill now pulls his opponent in a side headlock. Burchill holds the headlock tight, not letting Dykstra out of it. Kenny tries to fight out of it with elbows to the side of the gut, and is starting to break free from the hold. Dykstra is at a full standing position now, free from the hold. After a couple of forearm shots, he takes Burchill down with a clothesline.

After the clothesline, Dykstra makes a cover. 1…2… Burchill kicks out. Not wanting to waste any time, Dykstra locks his opponent in a short armbar, trying to immobilize Burchill. Fighting back quickly, Burchill makes it back up to a knee, and is starting to rise. He’s about to escape it, but Dykstra throws him back to the mat with a snapmare. Kenny comes off of the ropes, trying to take Burchill down once again. Burchill rolls out of the way, and back to his feet. Dykstra is shaken after the miss, and he’s hit in the chest with a knee from Burchill. Burchill pulls him in and takes Dykstra down quickly with a single underhook into a backbreaker. Burchill makes the cover. 1…2… Dykstra gets his shoulder up. Burchill takes a few seconds to think, waiting for Dykstra to stand. Once Kenny stands back up, Burchill tries to whip him into the ropes. This is reversed, and Burchill is sent to the turnbuckles, hitting them chest first. After getting winded, Burchill is rolled up into a pinning predicament. 1…2… Burchill gets his shoulder up. Both Burchill and Dykstra try to recover before unleashing their next attack.

Both men get up at the same time. Burchill comes off of the ropes, but is hit straight in the gut by a boot right to the stomach from Dykstra, leaving him in a prone position. After hitting the ropes quickly, Dykstra delivers a knee to the side of his opponent’s head. Dykstra follows up by scooping Burchill up and slamming him back down to the mat. Dykstra jumps up and attempts a jumping knee drop. Burchill moves out of the way, and stands back up. Paul whips Dykstra off of the ropes, and takes him down with a big forearm. Burchill calls for Kenny to stand up. Once that happens, Burchill pulls Dykstra in, grabbing him from behind. He holds him in the air for a couple of seconds. Burchill violently drops back to the mat after that with a back suplex on Dykstra. He hooks the leg for a cover. 1…2… Dykstra kicks out, but Burchill brings Dykstra back up quickly. He brings knees to his midsection a couple of times, and is about to pull him in again. Dykstra was able to push Paul away for a couple of seconds. Kenny seizes the opportunity and delivers a clothesline that sends the British Bruiser falling out of the ring.

While Burchill is out on the floor, Dykstra uses the free moments to recover from previous damage. He looks like he’s about to follow Burchill out of the ring, but that doesn’t happen. Burchill jumps back onto the apron, and grabs Dykstra by the head. He walks him over to the turnbuckle, and tries to bash his head into the padding. Dykstra stops himself from damage, and retaliates with a forearm to free himself from Burchill. Paul fights back though, and uses his ring positioning to snap Dykstra’s throat down on the top rope while jumping off of the apron. Burchill gets back into the ring, seating himself on the top rope, while holding Dykstra by the head. Burchill is about to set up a DDT, but Dykstra is resilient enough to deliver a body shot to Burchill, and get up to the second rope. Paul is shaken, and Dykstra punches him in the face to weaken him further. Dykstra stands up on the top rope now, and has Burchill pulled in. Dykstra lifts him up, and both men fall back to the mat after a superplex. Both men are down on the mat, but Dykstra rolls onto Burchill for a cover. 1…2… Burchill gets his shoulder up.

After the superplex, Dykstra is the first to stand up. He pulls Burchill back up to his feet, and delivers a clubbing blow to his back. Dykstra hooks him in, and tries to lift him. Burchill fights back, and goes behind Dykstra. Burchill tries to pull him for a suplex, but Dykstra and Burchill do a standing switch. Burchill doesn’t react quickly enough, and is taken down with a Hangman’s neckbreaker. Dykstra sets Burchill in position, and makes his way up to the top rope. He signals for the Sky High Leg Drop, taking a few seconds to play to the crowd. He jumps off, flying high into the air. Dykstra’s leg drop misses as Burchill moved out of the way. Dykstra is screaming in agony after the big miss. Burchill stands back up, and stomps on the mat. He holds Dykstra by the arms, setting up for the Curb Stomp. Dykstra used his legs to evade the dangerous move. Burchill can’t find Dykstra now, who’s standing behind him. Dykstra hooks him in with a pumphandle lift, and lifts him. Dykstra takes him down with a Pumphandle Slam. Kenny makes the cover on Burchill. 1…2… Paul barely got a shoulder up.

Dykstra looks ready to finish up the match. He waits eagerly for his opponent to stand up, wanting to take him down for a 3 count. Burchill is standing up, and Dykstra runs straight at him. Burchill trips him to the mat to avoid his quick attack. Burchill jumps up, and performs an amazing standing moonsault onto his opponent. Burchill kips back up to his feet, and lets out a loud yell. Burchill now pulls Kenny back up to a vertical base, and peppers him with two forearms to the face. He holds his hand up, showing excitement towards the fans. Burchill comes off of the ropes, trying one final attack. Dykstra stops him by ducking it. Kenny now jumps up, about to attempt an Ace Crusher. Paul pushes him away before he can connect with the move. Dykstra is about to turn around, but he’s suddenly met with a big boot from Burchill. Dykstra is still standing, but he doesn’t know where he is. Burchill signals for the kill. He pulls Dykstra in for the C-4. Burchill flips with Dykstra, connecting with the deadly C-4! Burchill makes the cover.

Buffer – Here is your winner, Paul Burchill!

Simon – A big win here by Paul Burchill. At Exodus, he came short in a match for the PRIDE Title, but now, he’ll have a chance for the International Title.
Malenko – It’s already another Triple Threat match, because Jack Evans was rewarded a title shot too, after beating Roderick Strong at Exodus.
Masters – They’re not facing Aries if Jimmy Rave wins the title here tonight. I’m pretty sure he will, because he has Prince Nana with him, and he’s awesome.
Simon – It could be Rave, Homicide, or Aries that walks away with the International Title tonight, and we’ll have to wait and see what happens there.
Malenko – Before our next match, we’re going to have to go backstage.

Kenny Dykstra is seen being helped backstage to his locker. Dan Rodman and Brent Albright hold him up, as he holds his ribs. Standing against the wall is Montel Vontavius Porter, who’s wearing a casual suit. He’s not wearing his sunglasses, so his expressions can be seen. He’s staring Dykstra down, and lets out a chuckle. MVP walks over to him and starts to talk.

MVP – Look at you, Ken Dykstra. You’re pathetic. I might have to nominate you as the biggest loser in this whole promotion. How the hell did you lose to the British Bitch, man?

Dykstra – At least I could put up a fight against him, and I didn’t run away like you.

MVP – But then again, I was in the Main Event of Exodus, and I’ve been in the Main Event a countless number of times. Where were you at Exodus?

Dykstra – I was-

MVP – That’s right, you weren’t on the card. You know why? Nobody and I really mean nobody wants to see you. At least I was on the show, and I put in an amazing effort. Too bad I was screwed out of the title once again.

Dykstra – Man, you couldn’t even fight any of your opponents.

MVP – That was at Exodus. You didn’t even know how hurt I was. I could’ve had a broken arm, but I still fought it and came that close to getting the PRIDE Belt.

Dykstra – I don’t need to hear your talk MVP, let me just go to back to my locker.

MVP – Look at you three. You call yourselves the Muscle Militia? With all of the fat hanging down from all of your trunks, I don’t even know who named you guys, and what the hell they were on.

Albright – We’ve got more muscle than you Porter, so I wouldn’t be talking if I were you.

MVP – I’ve never even heard you talk, and I don’t think I want to hear you again. I should be called the one man Muscle Militia, because I’m stronger than all of ya’ll put together.

Dykstra – Wow, that was the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.

MVP – You know what, since you keep on mocking me, let’s prove it in the ring. So how about I face any one of you nobodies at the next MTV Special?

Dykstra – You’ve got your match tough guy, even if Ricky Steamboat says no.

Albright – You know what MVP, if you want to face Dykstra at the MTV Show, why don’t you face me next week. That way, I’ll get to show you how ruthless I can get when a person like you pisses me off.

MVP – You’ve got your match, punk. But what’s your name again?

Albright – It’s-

MVP – I don’t care, you’re worthless. Now get the hell out of my face before I make those bruises on yours worse.

Buffer – The following contest is a Triangle Single Elimination match! It is scheduled for one fall, and the two men that don’t get pinned will become the Number One Contenders for the PRIDE Lightweight Title!

Just another Day in the FLA blasts. After a couple of seconds, Matt Cross walks into the arena, yelling. He runs to the ring, and does a flip over the ropes.

Hey Sandy plays. Chuck Taylor appears on the entrance stage, with a sly smile on his face. Chucky T walks to the ring, and stops for a second to yell at and scare a little kid.

Buffer – Next, from Raccoon City, Oklahoma, Chuck Taylor!

Battle Without Honor or Humanity plays, and the fans get up on their feet. Paul London walks through the curtain, looking excited. He walks to the ring, looking excited.

The three men stand cautiously, waiting for someone to make a move. Matt Cross attacks Paul London first, pushing him into the corner. Matt punches London, trying to weaken him early. After a few rapid strikes, Cross runs to the other corner for momentum. After bouncing off of the other turnbuckles, M-Dogg runs back to London. He’s tripped by Chuck Taylor, who just sticks his leg out. Chucky T has a smile on his face, showing his sense of humor after the simple move. Chuck turns around, and is hit immediately with a crossbody from Paul London. Taylor is on the mat, and London tries to keep him there. Matt Cross is back up, and chops London, wanting to be the first to attack Chucky. Cross’ chops backs London into a corner. Matt now starts to stomp at the grounded Chucky T, making him scream loudly like a little girl. Cross goes to the mat, and makes a cover on Taylor. 1… London breaks the cover up quickly, and starts to gain revenge on Cross. Both Cross and Chuck Taylor are seated on the mat. Both are hit with a dropkick from Paul London.

London makes a quick cover on both of his opponents. 1… They both get their shoulders up simultaneously. Chucky T and Cross stand back up. Matt Cross is about to be double teamed by London and Taylor, but he takes Taylor out with a roundhouse kick before he could attack. London punches Cross, trying to soften him up. Cross is on weak legs, and London pulls him in. Paul lifts him over with a Northern Lights Suplex, bridged over to a pin attempt. 1…2… Chuck Taylor breaks the cover up. London gets back up quickly, and he starts to battle with Smooth Chucky T. Taylor ducks under a short arm clothesline attempt, and traps London in a backslide pin attempt. 1…2… London rolls back to escape, with both men standing back up quickly. Paul tries to whip Chuck off of the ropes, but it’s reversed. London comes off of the ropes quickly, but he’s taken down after a perfect dropkick from Chuck Taylor. Chuck stomps on London now, but he turns around to see Matt Cross running at full speed towards him. Chuck Taylor is stricken with a beautiful headscissors by Matt Cross. Chucky is hit with enough force to take him out of the ring. Cross continues his offensive, attacking London this time with a diving double knee drop.

After stopping London momentarily, M-Dogg looks at Chuck Taylor, who’s starting to stand on the outside. He comes off of the ropes, probably going for a dive. London follows right behind him, trying to stop him. Cross fakes his dive with a 619-style fake, also kicking London in the gut with the move as well. Chuck Taylor is recovered, and goes up onto the apron. Matt Cross is there to meet him, and tries to strike him. Taylor ducks under it, and delivers a shoulder thrust to Matt’s midsection. Having weakened him enough, Taylor jumps into the ring with a flip. He jumps over Cross, and catches him in a sunset flip pin attempt. 1…2… London dropkicks Chuck Taylor in the face to break up the pin. London rolls back up to his feet, waiting for both of his opponents to stand up. Taylor and Cross are both standing, still in pain. London runs at both of them, trying to attack them. Cross and Taylor stop London by performing a double back body drop to Paul. London flies out of the ring, landing on the mats outside hard. Chuck Taylor and Matt Cross glance at each other, and look to fight. Cross stops Taylor with a cheap poke to the eyes, followed by a gutbuster.

After stopping Chuck Taylor, Matt Cross is the only man left standing. He looks to the outside, and sees Paul London starting to rise off of the floor. M-Dogg holds onto the top rope, and tries to fly to the outside. London moves out of the way, but Cross sees it. M-Dogg lands on the outside apron. Paul London jumps up, standing right next to Cross. London starts to forearm Cross. Chuck Taylor is back up, standing on the inside. He gets in on the action, and grabs Matt Cross. Taylor hooks the weakened man up for a suplex, but Cross tries to block it. Taylor fights through and lifts Cross up, holding him in a suplex position. Before Matt could get dropped down, he reverses the move into an amazing snap DDT. Cross stands up after the reversal, and is immediately taken down with a clothesline by the flying Paul London. Chuck Taylor can be seen starting to rise, on one knee. He’s taken back down to the mat after an enziguiri from London. Paul London is on fire, and he poses for the crowd. The fans roar, and London is motivated to hit more offense to become the victor of the match.

London climbs up to the top rope, looking to hit both of his opponents with a spectacular match. The rising Matt Cross charges at the corner, and knocks London off of his feet. Cross jumps up to the middle rope, and wants to take London off of the ropes with a Superplex. Chuck Taylor is back up, and pulls Cross by the legs off of the ropes. M-Dogg falls to the mat face first. Taylor lets out a Howard Dean like screech, but sees Paul London flying towards him. Taylor is taken down by a crossbody, but he rolls back to trap London in a surprise pin attempt. 1…2… London barely got out of it, and both men stand back up. London quickly tries to whip Taylor off of the ropes, but it’s reversed. London bounces off of a set of ropes, and after getting back to the middle of the ring, he’s taken down with a nice belly to belly suplex. Chuck Taylor kips back up to his feet after the nice suplex. Matt Cross is there to stop Chucky T, but he’s taken down as well with a back body drop. London and Cross are lying next to each other on the mat. Chucky T pulls out his invisible hand grenade, and points to a kid in the audience. He pulls the invisible string, and throws it to the crowd. Taylor drops to the mat after that, dropping both elbows on London and Cross.

After Chucky T’s Grenade, he makes the cover on both of his opponents. 1…2… Both of his opponents kick out. Taylor tries to convince the referee it was a 3, thinking that he finished the match off. Matt Cross rolls Taylor up while he wasn’t paying attention. 1…2… London grabs Cross by the waist and throws him over with a German Suplex to break up the pin. London bridges over into his own pin. 1…2… Cross kicks out, and he gets up to his feet quickly. London follows him, and they both bounce off of the ropes. They both are taken down by a pinpoint dropkick from Chuck Taylor. Paul London is weakened after the kick, and backs up into the corner, in a seated position. Chucky T runs towards the corner, but London moves out of the way swiftly, tripping Taylor into the turnbuckles. Taylor’s head hits the middle turnbuckle. London stands up, and tries to attack the downed Chuck Taylor. Matt Cross gets in London’s way, trying to take him down with a clothesline. London ducks under it, and jumps up, trying to take Cross down with a headscissors. Cross catches him though, in a powerbomb position. Cross throws him right onto Chuck Taylor with a corner powerbomb.

Cross makes the cover on London. 1…2… Chuck Taylor was there to barely break up the pin. All 3 men are lying on the mat, trying to get one last burst of energy. Matt Cross is the first one standing up, and he goes to the outside apron. Chuck Taylor is the first one to stand up, and Cross immediately uses a springboard to fly at him. Cross tries to take Chucky T down with a corkscrew crossbody, but he’s caught. Taylor drops Cross down after the catch with a turning powerslam. Taylor stands up after the slam. Paul London flies off of the top rope towards him. Taylor moves out of the way, but London rolls through to avoid damage. Chuck Taylor is quick to follow up, throwing London towards the turnbuckles. Taylor quickly follows him towards the corner, and Matt Cross kips up to his feet, following Chucky T. London rebounds off of the middle rope, performing a backflip. Chuck Taylor ducks under it, but London still is able to hit Matt Cross. London kips back up to his feet, and looks ready to fight. He turns around, and is blasted with a brutal running big boot from Chuck Taylor.

After taking London out quickly, Taylor picks up Matt Cross. He grabs him from behind, and scoops him up. Taylor calls for the Omega Driver, and holds Cross in position. Chucky T walks to the middle of the ring to secure himself. He’s about to drop Cross right on his head, but Paul London kips up to his feet. He comes from out of nowhere, and connects with a superkick to Taylor’s face. Both Cross and Taylor fall down, and London sets Chucky T in position, and climbs up to the top rope. He flies off quickly, trying to connect with the 450 Splash. Chucky T gets his knees up! London is just yelling in pain now, and he’s holding his midsection. Chuck Taylor rolls out of the way, still trying to recover. Matt Cross is back up on his feet now, and he sees the damaged London, and climbs up to the top rope. He signals for the finish. Cross jumps off, and flips through the air. Cross lands and connects with his Shooting Star Leg Drop, the M-Dogg Drop! M-Dogg makes the cover on the finished London.

Buffer – Here are the winners of the match, Matt Cross and Chuck Taylor!

Simon – What an amazing match we just saw there. It was a bit of an upset with London getting pinned, but he was outwrestled tonight. I’m really waiting for these three guys to get in the ring again, matches like that can’t be topped.
Masters – It would be nice if they were tall enough to ride the big boy rollercoasters first, but that was decent. I could do better than that against anyone.
Malenko – So now we have another match set. Matt Sydal will be taking on Matt Cross and Chuck Taylor, with his Lightweight Title on the line. I wouldn’t be surprised if that match is better than this one, all of them will want the title more.

The PRIDE backstage interview area is seen, and Lena Yada is seen standing with CM Punk.

Lena – Right now, I’m here with CM Punk. At Exodus, you lost in the PRIDE Title match. Can you take us what you went through during and after the match?

Punk – Lena, at Exodus, you saw me in a Four Way for Samoa Joe’s PRIDE Title. Everyone’s been raving about my performance there, but the bottom line is that I didn’t win the match. I wasn’t pinned, and I didn’t get the pin either. So technically, that wasn’t a loss. But to me, every single match where I don’t win is just as bad. I know that there were two other people to beat on in the match other than Joe, but I have to admit that I tried the hardest. You saw MVP, Burchill and Joe take punishment. In that match, I was the one that looked most like the champion. I busted my ass trying to win the PRIDE Title. But it just so happened that I was in the wrong place, at the wrong time and I couldn’t finish off the match. I would want to take my revenge, but I know that me and Joe still have one more one on one match to finish things off.

Lena – OK, so we just learned that you’ll again be in the PRIDE Title match at the MTV Special. You’ll be in a triple threat match against Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe. What are your thoughts on this?

Punk – It’s great to get another PRIDE Title Shot, even though it was supposed to be me vs Joe one on one this month. Ricky Steamboat made a good decision, because he saw that I’m the only guy to take Joe to his limits. But for this MTV Special, I won’t be getting too caught up in the hype of the match like I did for Exodus. This time, my only focus will be winning the match, and winning the PRIDE Championship. Now, Bryan Danielson is in the mix. He came in with my childhood hero, Ric Flair. It might just be me, but I really think that Bryan Danielson’s head has gotten a little too big the past couple of years. He’s nowhere near the best in the world. Ric Flair and his new group have done nothing to show that they belong here. It’ll be nice to show Danielson some punishment in the ring, because he needs to be brought back down to earth to realize that he’s nothing compared to the big boys.

Lena – Last Question here. What are your thoughts on the Apex and their debut at Exodus and their demands earlier tonight?

Punk – They’ll just be there for a free ride. Groups like those never last a long time. Those are the type of things that last for only a couple of weeks. They’ll realize that they’re not good at all, and they’ll be done before they can even do anything important. It doesn’t matter if Ric Flair is their leader or not, they won’t ever do anything significant here in PRIDE. This isn’t some other promotion where they’re automatically rewarded a title shot just because of their first and last names. They’ll have to learn that their respect is earned. They can pout and whine all they want, but if they don’t win their matches, they’ll have to stand at the back of the line.

Lena – That was CM Punk. Now back to the show.

Colt Cabana & Ace Steel vs Teddy Hart & Matt Bentley

*Bell Rings*

Colt Cabana comes out of his corner to begin the match. Matt Bentley goes out for his team. Bentley and Cabana lock up. Cabana quickly grabs on a side headlock, but Bentley pushes him off of the ropes for an easy escape. Cabana slides through Matt’s legs, and stands behind him. Bentley turns around, and Cabana goes through his legs again. Bentley looks frustrated, and turns around once more. Bentley finally catches Cabana, and holds him, pulling him in for a headlock. Colt is taken to his feet, and into a grounded position on the mat. Cabana uses his positioning to roll Bentley over into a pinning submission, while still in the lock. 1… Bentley gets his shoulder up, but Colt rolls over again. The two entangled opponents roll around the ring for a couple of second. Cabana finally stops and has Bentley in another pinning position. 1… Bentley releases the headlock to stop Cabana’s antics. Maverick Matt looks very frustrated, as he gets back up to his feet. Cabana trips Bentley to the mat. The referee tries to follow up with the action, and falls over, onto Matt Bentley, in what seems like a pinning position. Cabana starts to count, with the ref pinning Bentley. 1…2… Bentley pushes the ref disgustingly out of the way.

Cabana looks serious now, and drags Bentley to his corner, tagging in Ace Steel. They bring Matt up to his feet, and Cabana strikes him first with a knee right to the gut. Steel pushes Bentley against the turnbuckles, starting to unload with chops. Steel takes Matt out of the corner quickly with a snap suplex. Steel bridges over back up to his feet, and tries to whip Bentley into a turnbuckle. Matt counters it and changes its direction. Steel ends up in the wrong corner, and Bentley finally gets the tag to his partner, Teddy Hart. Hart and Bentley bring the boots to Ace, using the ref’s count to its full extent. Bentley exits the ring, and Hart starts to slap Ace Steel. He yells at Steel, saying how much better he is. After a dirty spit to Ace’s face, Teddy throws him out of the corner with a snapmare. Hart now starts to stomp on Steel, and is relentless. Hart pulls Steel to a seated position, and snaps his neck in an awkward position. Hart delivers a knee to the back of the head after that, wanting to slow the match down. Teddy now locks in a chinlock on Ace Steel, starting to wear the veteran down.

Hart wrenches Steel’s head back, trying to make him tap out. Steel won’t give up to the simple submission, and he tries to escape. Steel is back on his feet, with Hart’s knee off of his back. Steel grabs Teddy by the head, and snaps him down with a jawbreaker to break the submission. Hart is still standing, but holding his jaw. After coming off of the ropes, Steel delivers a big clothesline to Hart. Ace tags out of the match, signaling for Colt Cabana to come in. Matt Bentley comes into the ring to protect his downed partner, but he’s taken down with a double team flapjack. Cabana & Steel look excited, with both of their opponents down. Steel exits the ring, and Cabana brings Teddy Hart back up to a standing position. Colt jabs at Hart a couple of times. After a third punch, Cabana winds up, letting the fans make the noise. Cabana goes for a haymaker, but Hart moves out of the way. Capitalizing on the dazed Cabana, Teddy Hart brings Colt down hard to the mat with an STO. After the move, Teddy rolls to his corner, and makes the tag to Maverick Matt Bentley.

Bentley comes into the ring, and throws Cabana to the turnbuckles just as he was getting up. Bentley sprints towards the corner. Right before he hits Cabana, he stops. Bentley faked Colt out, and slaps him in the face. Bentley backs out of the corner, and runs towards it again. This time, he hits a turnbuckle clothesline on Colt. Bentley still attacks Colt, hooking him in for a suplex. Bentley lifts Colt in the air, and slingshots Colt’s body off of the ropes for momentum. Colt grabs the rope, and lands on the outside apron. He takes a swing at the surprised Bentley, but it’s ducked. Before Colt could get a second chance, Bentley runs away, making the tag to Teddy Hart. Hart & Bentley team up to knock Cabana off of the apron. Ace Steel comes into the ring to stop them, and he ducks under a quick double clothesline from the duo. Steel bounces off of the ropes, and is taken down with a leg sweep and dropkick combo from Hart & Bentley. Teddy Hart starts to talk to the referee. On the outside, the Apex’s manager Ric Flair starts to attack Colt Cabana, kicking him while the referee was distracted.

Flair throws Cabana back into the ring. Teddy Hart makes the cover on the hurt Colt Cabana. 1…2… Ace Steel has to break the cover up in order to save the match. The referee tells Steel to go back to his corner, and he obeys the rules. Hart brings Cabana up holding in a powerbomb position. Teddy signals for the end of Cabana, and pulls him up. Hart drops Cabana down with a brutal powerbomb lung blower. Hart walks over Cabana on his way to the corner. Hart climbs up quickly to the top rope, and balances himself. He yells at the fans again, and flips through the air. Hart’s attempt at a corkscrew moonsault is stopped when Cabana gets his knees up. Teddy looks very surprised, falling into a corner, trying to catch his breath. Colt gets up, and charges at the corner. He pancakes Teddy with the Flying Ass Attack. He goes to the opposite corner, and takes Bentley off of the apron. Teddy is still in the corner, and Cabana pulls him up by the legs, in a powerbomb position. Cabana throws Teddy into the turnbuckle first and still holds onto him. Cabana turns around, powering Hart to the mat with another powerbomb.

Cabana makes the cover, hooking only one leg. 1…2… Ric Flair purposely grabs Teddy’s leg and puts it on the bottom rope. The ref notices Hart’s leg on the rope, and stops the count. Cabana looks surprised, and he tags out of the match, letting Ace Steel get in the match. Steel is up on the top rope already, and jumps off. He delivers a flying elbow to Teddy Hart, and makes a cover. 1…2… Matt Bentley pulls Steel off of his partner. Bentley starts to punch Steel, completely ignoring the yelling referee. Steel is quicker to strike, and has Bentley on weak legs. Steel delivers a knee strike to Bentley, and follows up with a hangman’s neckbreaker. Steel now rolls Bentley out of the ring, and tries to go back on offense against Teddy Hart. Steel turns around, and is immediately hooked in by Teddy, with what could be a Hart Original. Steel pushes Teddy away. Ace charges at him, attempting a Big Boot. Hart sidesteps it, and Steel’s leg is caught up on the top rope. Hart grabs the hurt Steel in position, a Gory Submission hold. Hart attempts to drop Ace down, but Steel was able to escape.

Steel turns Hart around, and kicks him right in the gut. Steel calls for the Spinal Shock. Hart is hooked in, but he escapes quickly. He pushes Steel away, and he inadvertently hits the referee, knocking him into the ropes. Ric Flair comes into the ring, with a chair held in hand. Ace turns around, and is hammered with the hard steel chair. He crumples to the mat, and Flair exits the ring. Matt Bentley enters the ring, and so does Colt Cabana. Cabana runs right into the superkick from Bentley, and he goes all the way out of the ring. Teddy Hart is on the top rope, and has Steel set, not going anywhere. Hart mocks the fans once more before going for his dive. Hart flips through the air, and delivers the Open Hart Surgery on Ace Steel! Teddy makes the cover, with a smile on his face.

Buffer – Here are your winners, Matt Bentley & Teddy Hart!

Malenko – What was that? Ric Flair just ruined the match for Ace Steel & Colt Cabana. I can’t stand this group already.
Masters – Right now, you’re looking at your future tag team champions. You’re going to have to get used to the Apex from now on.
Simon – I don’t think the rest of the locker room will stand for that type of win, which means that Bentley & Hart might not be the only ones facing off against the Tag Champs. But right now, we’ll have to go right to intermission.

---------------INTERMISSION---------------

The arena suddenly goes black. Screams can be heard from the background, coming from the speakers. The lights turn back on again, and there are 4 people standing in the ring. The members of the Age of the Fall are standing there, with a spotlight shining on them. They’re in normal clothes, black of course. Leader Jimmy Jacobs begins to speak.

Jacobs – Well, well, well, I can see that not much has changed since we left. The last time you saw us soldiers here in PRIDE, we were being taken away, and we were suspended. We were stripped of our freedom, and told to watch on the sidelines. Fear struck every single person in the locker room, they were afraid that we were too powerful. So of course, Ricky Steamboat set us up to be suspended. Well, we’re back now, and the Revolution will continue, starting right now.

The fans chant for Jacobs to shut up. Jacobs continues to speak, while his stable mates try to calm the crowd down.

Jacobs – That time off from here was actually a blessing in disguise. On the past couple of shows, you saw another group appear, led by some washed up legend. You saw as this company started to decay more and more, week by week. Pro Wrestling PRIDE needed the AOTF to survive. They needed us like a baby needs its mother. Without us, things would be worse than they had already been. We’ve seen plenty of times how someone’s money can get them power here. We saw some people sell their souls to get a title shot, or even just some TV time here. We don’t need any of that. We’re trying to lead you people to the truth. None of those things can save, they don’t give people happiness. I’m ashamed to see people that I used to call my friends stoop so low and literally kiss so many asses for attention. This Revolution is fighting all of these problems, and it’s time for us to teach everyone what the movement is all about.

Tyler Black now gets his chance to speak.

Black – As we were planning our next move during our suspension, we drew a target on several people. Even though this whole roster is full of a bunch of sell outs, fakes, and liars, there are three people that have sold themselves out the most. The Murder City Machine Guns are the biggest jokes in this whole company. They earn the cheers and admiration of you fans, but again, you’re blinded from the truth. The team of Jay Lethal, Alex Shelley, and Chris Sabin were just like us before. Instead, they gave up their integrity and their own happiness for money, for the cheers from the fans. When they could have been underground heroes, they had to sell themselves out. They had to swallow their pride and lose their edge. They went down to Florida to hang out with a bunch of old guys, people who had just as much integrity as them, nothing. The Murder City Machine Guns will be nothing but a fad, a flavor of the week. They stand for everything we’re against. So right now, we ask for one simple thing. If they’re real men, we ask them to confront us right now, in this ring.

After a few seconds, nothing happens. Jimmy Jacobs starts to speak.

Jacobs – See, you’re so called heroes aren’t even man enough to come face to face with us. They’re afraid of our Revolution, they won’t even talk to us. So let me ask one more time, will Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin & Jay Lethal come out here right now?

Jacobs looks around. The 4 members of the group are attacked from behind when the Murder City Machine Guns run in from the crowd. The AOTF slide out of the ring, looking very angry. Alex Shelley grabs the mic from off of the mat.

Shelley – Age of the Fall, never, ever mess with the Guns! You can call us out as much as you want, but we’ll still take you out. Your little revolution can go back to the bottom of Hot Topic where it belongs.

The Revolutionaries retreat to the back, looking upset with the sneak attack of the MCMG. Shelley, Sabin & Lethal pose for the fans, making their trademark hand signs. The ring clears, and the next match is announced.

Buffer – The following contest is a special showcase tag team match! It is scheduled for one fall, under a 30 minute time limit!

Hell plays to a decent amount of boos from the crowd. Gran Akuma and Icarus walk to the ring, with smug looks on their faces.

Buffer – First, representing Wrestling Society X Underground and Chikara, Gran Akuma & Icarus!

Ole starts to play out through the speakers. El Generico busts through the curtain, and jogs to the ring. Kevin Steen walks behind him, with less enthusiasm than the Generic Luchadore.

Gran Akuma & Icarus vs El Generico vs Kevin Steen

*Bell Rings*

El Generico stands in the middle of the ring, and extends a hand towards Gran Akuma. Akuma steps on Generico’s toe as an answer. Akuma holds Generico by the arm, twisting him into a wristlock. Generico reverses it into a hammerlock, and floats over into a headlock. Akuma pushes Generico off of the ropes quickly, breaking the headlock. The Generic Luchadore comes back to the middle of the ring, and is stopped with a kick straight to the gut. Akuma is starting to deliver stiff knees to Generico’s midsection. Akuma grabs Generico’s arm to avoid blocking from a brutal array of roundhouse kicks to the chest. The kicks sound as loud as chops, and Generico looks weakened severely. Still holding Generico’s arm, Gran Akuma goes to his corner, and makes the tag to Icarus. Akuma’s tag partner starts punching the Generic Luchadore. Akuma pushes Generico onto the turnbuckles. Akuma kicks Generico in the midsection and Icarus follows Akuma with a shoulder block. Akuma exits the ring, as Icarus continues to deliver shoulder blocks to the trapped El Generico.

Icarus now snaps Generico to the mat in a seated position. The FIST member drives his knee onto Generico’s back. This allows for him to lock Generico into a submission predicament, a chinlock. Kevin Steen tries to get his tag partner to escape. Icarus yells some words at Steen, and Mr. Wrestling doesn’t look pleased. This mild distraction opens the way for El Generico to escape the hold of Icarus. With the fans firmly behind him, Generico is slowly getting back up to his feet. Generico delivers several elbows to Icarus’ midsection. Icarus still has Generico’s head held, but not for long as Generico snaps downward, connecting with a nice chinbreaker on his opponent. The Generic Luchadore is lying on the mat, trying to reach out to Kevin Steen. Slowly but surely, Generico gets there, and slaps Kevin Steen for the tag. Mr. Wrestling comes into the ring, calling for someone to fight him. Icarus tries to stop the Canadian from making a comeback, but he’s met with a big forearm. Gran Akuma comes into the ring, trying to make up for his downed partner. Steen makes quick work of him as well, taking the WSX member out with a spinning heel kick. Steen stands on the middle rope, letting out a big battle cry.

Steen goes back to work on Icarus, who’s back on his feet. Steen chops his opponent a couple of times, and Icarus is backing up. Steen comes off of the ropes, trying to take Icarus down. Mr. Wrestling is tripped to the mat by crafty Icarus. Trying to capitalize on this change of events, Icarus takes a dive to his corner, making the tag to Gran Akuma. Icarus & Akuma work together, simultaneously kicking the kneeling Kevin Steen in the back. The duo takes the big man down with a double team high angle back suplex. Icarus is forced to exit the ring, as Akuma hooks the leg of Steen for the pin attempt. 1…2… El Generico breaks the cover up to save Mr. Wrestling. Still standing on the outside, Icarus pulls Generico out of the ring. He starts to brawl with the Generic Luchadore on the outside, leaving Akuma to wrestle Steen. Gran Akuma guides Steen up to his feet, but Mr. Wrestling will not give up. He strikes at the midsection of Akuma, which stops the former Chikara tag champ from continuing his attack. Steen bounces off of the ropes, but he runs right into a kick followed into a hard DDT from Akuma.

Gran Akuma makes the pin attempt after the move. 1…2… Steen gets his shoulder up. On the outside, El Generico lies on the floor, hurt from the damage done by Icarus. The Winged Warrior is now on the apron, and Akuma tags him back into the match. The two FIST members whip Steen off of the ropes. Steen is taken off of his feet with a double sweep of a dropkick and legsweep. Akuma and Icarus slap hands, proud of their work on Mr. Wrestling. Icarus makes his way to a corner, and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. Steen starts to stand, and Icarus propels himself towards him. Flying through the air, Icarus connects with a missile dropkick to Kevin Steen. Mr. Wrestling does not fall over, but he’s leaning against a rope for balance. With the referee unknowing, Akuma kicks the hurt Steen square in the back. He now gouges the eye of Steen, but the ref finally turns and witnesses this take place. El Generico comes running across the apron, and kicks Akuma, knocking him onto the arena floor. Icarus delivers some forearms to Steen, and pulls him in for a suplex. Steen counters into his own Fisherman suplex.

Kevin Steen tries to make the tag in his corner, but El Generico isn’t there. “SHIT!” El Generico hops back up onto the apron, and reaches out to Kevin Steen. The two connect, and El Generico is back in the match. Steen & Generico work together, as Generico is still standing on the ring apron. Standing, but weary, Icarus is taken hold by Kevin Steen. “Get the boot up!” Generico puts his boot up on the top rope. Steen rams Icarus’ head on Generico’s boot. Icarus falls over, and Generico flies into the ring with a slingshot. He lands on the downed Icarus with a slingshot senton. Steen just came off of the ropes to follow up, hitting a somersault leg drop. Steen exits the ring as Generico makes the cover. 1…2… Gran Akuma breaks the cover up and starts to stomp on El Generico. Kevin Steen comes back into the ring, and takes Akuma out. Steen cuts Akuma off, fighting him on the outside. Generico and Icarus begin to stand at the same time. Generico holds Icarus by the hand, and runs to the corner. Generico rebounds off of the turnbuckles to give him the momentum to connect with a beautiful Tornado DDT! Generico lets out an “Ole.” But suddenly, Elijah Burke and Shelton Benjamin appear on the entrance stage, which diverts the Generic Luchadore’s attention off of the match.

Garn Akuma and Kevin Steen are still brawling on the outside. Burke & Benjamin watch on, making fun of Mr. Wrestling. Inside the ring, El Generico is still looking at the two Nation members. Icarus is up, signaling for the kill, waiting eagerly for Generico to turn around. Icarus has to spin him around, and hooks him in for the Pedigree. Generico counters out of it, standing behind Icarus now. Icarus tries to elbow out of it, but Generico ducks under. Icarus faces the Generic Luchadore now, and he is hooked in quickly. Generico quickly pulls Icarus up, and nails the Brainbuster! Kevin Steen is back on the ring apron. El Generico sets Icarus up in position for a big move. Steen stands on the top turnbuckle in one corner. Generico does the same on another. Steen flies off first, connecting with the Swanton Bomb! Generico comes off of the turnbuckle right after, hitting a Frog Splash on Icarus! Generico makes the cover, with Steen protecting the ring.
1…2…3!

Buffer – Here are your winners, the team of El Generico & Kevin Steen!

Kevin Steen & El Generico walk to the back, celebrating their victory. The two then come face to face with Elijah Burke & Shelton Benjamin. The two teams stare at each other for a moment. Steen laughs at them, and continues to go backstage.

Masters – Steen & Generico are still lame.
Simon – Both teams looked good in that match. Gran Akuma & Icarus definitely got some people interested in Wrestling Society X and Chikara.
Malenko – They could come here to PRIDE, but who knows.
Simon – But hey, maybe this next guy could bring them in. Larry Sweeney is up right now, with the Sweet & Sour State of the Union Address.

Sweet & Sour State of the Union Address

More, More, More plays to boos from the crowd. Larry Sweeney walks through the curtain, strutting to the ring. He’s alone, and doesn’t have any backup. Sweet & Sour gets into the ring, and has a microphone in hand. The super agent begins to speak.

Sweeney – Right now, you’re watching history be made. This is the first ever, Sweet & Sour State of the Union Address. No, you losers don’t get it. I’m not running for President, I’m already richer than him, and I do less work. Right now, I’m going to discuss the future of Sweet & Sour Incorporated here in Pro Wrestling PRIDE. These couple of decisions I’m going to make might affect every single one of you. I know that all of you won’t forget it either. Because I am the most important person in your life, your world should center on ME. No, not Samoa Joe, John Cena, Barack Obama or Brittney Spears, you should think about Mr. Sweet & Sour himself. You got that, or do I have to say it in redneck language?

Sweeney is booed by the Kentucky crowd. Larry doesn’t really care, and he continues to speak.

Sweeney – Well, last week at Exodus, you saw one of the most disgusting things ever happen to me. My whole reputation, my aura, my legend was completely embarrassed by the so called “Dynasty.” Joey Ryan, Scott Lost, and Scorpio Sky all LOST. Do you know what I call a loss? UNACCEPTABLE! That is one thing I never want to hear associated with my name, lose. But that’s exactly what happened on the MTV Special Exodus. And as you can see, Joey Ryan, Scott Lost and Scorpio Sky are not in the building. They are not on the Sweet & Sour Payroll anymore, they have been’ exed off of that list. They can go back to Southern California on their own, because I’m not paying for those 3 jabronis to go back home. Sweet & Sour Incorporated is about winning, and because they didn’t do that, they might never come back to Pro Wrestling PRIDE. I gave them a chance, and they did not deliver.

Sweeney pauses for a second, and points out a fan in the second row. Sweeney mocks him, and continues with his State of the Union Address.

Sweeney – I know that all of you are wondering what’s next for me. Some of you might think that I’ll be leaving PRIDE because of my failure. The answer, quite simply, is no. That embarrassment was only the beginning of Sweet & Sour in Pro Wrestling PRIDE. You haven’t seen anything yet. If you really thought the past couple of matches was the best I could get, you’re wrong. The Dynasty was one of the easiest acquisitions of my career, and they were one of the easiest to release.

Sweeney goes out of the ring to confront the fan again.

Sweeney – You really think you’re funny, do you? You know that I’m better than you, because I’ve actually had the comfort of a woman before. And I also shower daily, unlike you freak. So sit your fat butt down in the seat and listen to wrestling’s super agent continue with what he has to say.

Sweeney gets back into the ring.

Sweeney - So for the next couple of weeks, you’ll see me going to any team that I see worthy, offering my services. I’ll give an offer that can’t be refused, because I’m going to start a real Dynasty this time. And who knows, my next clients won’t even have to be in this promotion. I have enough money to get any client that I want, and enough power to control this promotion. This wasn’t the last you’ve seen of me here. When I find my next worthy clients, I really will be rolling. You people won’t even know what’s going to happen, because you don’t know who I’ll bring in. I might just call my friend Vince up and buy some of his top talent to come over here on the PRIDE side. But there’s only one sure thing, and I can make it a guarantee. Sweet & Sour Incorporated will be rolling once again, and we’re going to be making money! And there’s ain’t No Doubt about that, baby.

Larry Sweeney drops his microphone and walks to the back. More, More, More plays as the Super Agent struts out of the ring, while mocking the fans.

Buffer – The following contest is the main event! It is a Triple Threat Match Scheduled for one fall, under a 45 minute time limit! It is for the Pro Wrestling PRIDE International Title!

The Truth Ironside plays to cheers from the fans. Homicide walks through the curtain, looking excited. He walks to the ring, throwing up gang signs.

Buffer – First, from Bed-Stuy, Do or Die, Brooklyn, New York, the Notorious 187, Homicide!

The House of the Rising Sun plays for a couple of seconds. Jimmy Rave walks through the curtain, with Jimmy Rave right behind him. They walk to the ring, and are immediately pelted with rolls of toilet paper.

Buffer – Next, from Ghana, West Africa by way of Atlanta, Georgia and accompanied by Prince Nana, Jimmy Rave!

Personal Jesus blasts through the speakers as the lights dim. Austin Aries walks to the ring, with the PRIDE International Championship around his waist.

Buffer – Finally, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he is the Pro Wrestling PRIDE International Champion, Austin Aries!

As soon as the bell rings, Homicide turns to Jimmy Rave, and jumps him. Cide quickly starts to pummel Rave, pushing him into a corner. Austin Aries just watches as the two adversaries duke it out. Jimmy Rave returns with punches and forearms to the Notorious 187, and delivers a shoulder block to the midsection as a way to slow him down. Rave punches Homicide wildly, and sweeps him to the mat. Rave delivers one big stomp to Homicide’s face. He then poses in the middle of the ring, to a wild chorus of boos from the fans. Austin Aries kicks the unsuspecting Rave right in the chest. Rave holds his chest, as Aries now starts to bring knees to Rave’s face. Homicide is back up, and asks Aries to hold Rave in the seated position. Homicide comes off of the ropes and delivers a boot to the face of Rave. Homicide looks comfortable now, after taking Rave out. He turns around, and is immediately hit with a spinning forearm from Austin Aries. Cide is now taken to the mat after a quick snapmare from Aries. Austin dropkicks the back of Cide’s head. The International Champ is the only man standing, and has a sly, cocky smile on his face.

Aries brings Jimmy Rave back up to his feet, and Homicide gets back under his own power. Aries throws Rave into Homicide, weakening both of them. Aries now throws Jimmy Rave out of the ring, wanting to face the Notorious 187 one on one. Aries weakens Homicide quickly with a set of quick forearms. Aries comes off of the ropes at a sprint. He’s taken off of his feet by Jimmy Rave, who trips him up from the outside. Rave goes up to the apron, and springs into the ring. He lands with a big stomp on Aries’ back. Rave won’t stop his stomps now, but is stopped when Homicide grabs him. Cide grabs Rave by the waist, attempting to take him down with a back suplex. Jimmy escapes it, and lands behind Rave. Rave makes the quick cover. 1…2… Austin Aries breaks the cover up. Rave stands up, and delivers a quick knee to Aries’ gut to stop him quickly. Rave holds Aries’ head in position, trying to take him down with a DDT. Homicide comes into the picture, and delivers a running neckbreaker onto Rave while he was powering Aries down with a big DDT.

Homicide makes the cover on Jimmy Rave and Austin Aries. 1…2… Aries and Rave kick out at different times, but before the ref counted 3. Homicide attacks Jimmy Rave first, punching him while he’s on the mat. Trying to protect himself, Rave grabs a rope, making Homicide stop his attack. Jimmy Rave rolls to the outside, where he’s consoled by Prince Nana. In the ring, Austin Aries and Homicide face off, and both come off of the ropes. Aries takes the charging Cide down with a jumping knee strike. Homicide is lying on the mat, signaling for Aries to go to the apron. Aries jumps back into the ring with a slingshot, and lands right on Homicide’s midsection with a corkscrew senton. Aries goes right back up to his feet, coming off of the ropes. Aries drops an elbow on Homicide, and makes the cover after that. 1…2… Jimmy Rave breaks it from the outside. Aries does not look happy with that, and goes to the outside, trying to get revenge on Jimmy Rave. Rave runs to the opposite side of the ring to avoid Aries. Prince Nana gets in Aries’ way, trying to talk him out of attacking his man. Aries just looks at Nana, and hits him hard with a lariat, making him fall to the floor.

Aries now runs towards Rave, but is too late to catch him. Rave slides into the ring, and Aries quickly follows. Homicide is able to grab the unsuspecting Rave, and take him down with a quick powerslam. Homicide sees Aries coming at him, and ducks under a clothesline from him. Cide grabs Austin by the neck, and takes him down with a quick neckbreaker. Homicide goes back up to his feet, and slaps his chest in excitement. He brings Jimmy Rave back up, and whips him towards the corner. Homicide slaps the mat before going to the corner. Aries gets in Homicide’s way, and whips him into the same corner Rave’s in. Cide lands right on top of Rave, and the two are in a very awkward position. Aries charges towards the corner, delivering a big running dropkick to the two cornered men. Cide falls forward onto his knees while Jimmy Rave stays on the corner, catching his breath. Aries now looks to Homicide, and locks in the Horns of Aries! Homicide yells in pain, trying to reach the ropes. Jimmy Rave drops his knee on Aries, chest, breaking the submission quickly.

Aries rolls off of Homicide, and Jimmy Rave is the only man standing. He drops his elbow on the back of Homicide’s head. Cide goes into a seated position now, and Rave comes off of the ropes. He takes Cide to a lying position after a knee straight to the face. Rave has an arrogant smile on his face, and copies a motion of Austin Aries. He signals to the left and to the right, for what could be the pendulum elbow drop. He spins while falling, and drops the elbow on Cide. Rave stands up, only to come face to face with Austin Aries. Rave is taken down to the mat after a snapmare, and is quickly put in a lying position with a dropkick to the face from Austin Aries. Aries yells, saying “this is the real deal right now.” He drops down quickly with the pendulum elbow drop right on the chest of Jimmy Rave. Aries goes to the outside apron, waiting for at least one of his two opponents to get up. Homicide is the first one to stand up, and sees Aries about to fly. Homicide lunges at Aries, hitting him with a forearm. Homicide throws him back to the ring with authority, with a hair-mare.

Aries is in a seated position, and Homicide comes off of the ropes. Cide delivers a beautiful Shining Wizard onto Austin Aries. Cide turns Aries over quickly, and locks him in an STF. Aries is yelling in pain, his whole body being stretched. Aries reaches with all that he can, and grabs the bottom rope. Before Homicide could even let go of Aries, Jimmy Rave comes to the two of them, and starts stomping on Homicide. He rolls the Notorious 187 out of the ring. Still lying on the mat is International Champion Austin Aries. Rave rolls him over to his stomach, and locks in the Heel Hook! The referee asks Aries if he wants to quit. Jimmy Rave reaches his free hand out, and grabs onto Prince Nana, giving him the leverage he needs to prevent an escape from Austin Aries. Outside the ring, Homicide grabs Prince Nana from behind. Nana stumbles backwards, pulling Jimmy Rave as well. Rave flies out of the ring inadvertently, onto Prince Nana and Homicide. The fans are on their feet, waiting for something to happen. Austin Aries stands up, fighting through the pain. He bounces off of the far set of ropes. He dives out of the ring between the first and second ropes, hitting the standing Prince Nana, Jimmy Rave, and Homicide!

All 3 competitors in the match, including Prince Nana, are lying on the floor. Homicide is the first to stand up, and holds his stomach. The ref starts his count.
1…..
Homicide tries to get back into the ring, but Austin Aries grabs him by the leg, stopping him momentarily. Cide pulls him up, and delivers some forearms to him.
2…..
Aries fights back at Homicide, not affected much by Cide’s strikes. Aries follows up with a kick to Cide’s gut. Aries hooks Homicide in, but it’s quickly escaped.
3…..
Jimmy Rave is back up, and tries to be swift in getting back in the ring. Both Aries and Homicide see him, and pull him back to the ringside area.
4…..
Jimmy Rave takes Aries down first with a vicious backhand strike. Rave turns to Homicide, and the two just stare each other down.
5…..
Rave and Homicide exchange words, and after a few seconds, explode. Rave and Homicide start brawling wildly with each other.
6…..
They spill out near the guardrail. Homicide grabs the quick advantage, and backs up a few steps. Cide runs back at him, and both knock each other over the guardrail.
7…..
Rave and Homicide are in the crowd, still fighting each other. Prince Nana follows them, and mocks Homicide, trying to distract him.
8…..
Closer to the ring, Austin Aries is back up. He uses his remaining strength to roll back into the ring safely. Homicide and Rave are still fighting, and are deeper into the crowd.
9…..
Prince Nana grabs a chair, and hands it to Jimmy Rave when there’s a lull between the two. Rave takes a swing at Homicide, but Cide ducks out of the way. The bell rings, with Aries the only man in the ring.

*Bell Rings*

Buffer – As a result of a double count out, Austin Aries is your winner, and still Pro Wrestling PRIDE International Champion!

Homicide and Rave are still fighting in the crowd after the bell rings. Homicide rolls back into the ring way too late. Prince Nana and Jimmy Rave roll into the ring as well. Homicide is standing, and is hit in the back with Nana’s steel chair. Cide falls forward, and to the mat with a thud. Nana now sets the hurt Homicide’s face up on the set up chair. Cide’s face is on the seat, and Nana instructs Rave to attack. Rave brings his leg up, and stomps the back of Cide’s head. The chair snaps downward, breaking. Rave poses in the middle of the ring, with Nana clapping for him. Running in from the stage is Hernandez and B-Boy. They make Rave and Nana escape to the back. They check on Homicide’s status, the last image of the show.

This show was pretty good, The matches were solid, the segments were pretty entertaining.

There wasn't really a worst match or worst promo all were decent. I think this show earns a 4/5. Also if you get bored I have a few shows posted in Pro Wrestling Lethal.
