Trent Seven leaving TNA

Actually nah I can't critique by that, they were probably still hoping he'd sign and it's not a big deal that he didn't for the angle anyway. Can't book everyone on a short term basis even if contracts are setup like that

TOTAL NONSTOP ACTION
Must suck to be Jake Something. Hammerstone is longterm injured, Trent is gone, and there goes your character's direction AGAIN

that being said, respectfully, this dude is mad out of shape and a shell of his former self. not a big loss, I wouldn't pay much for him either

they offering pay cuts? I thought the were doing record gates! guess it's not all roses

Or they learned profit margins from WWE lol also it was a throwaway Meltzer line so I wouldn't rate it too high, just means at least one said no to a pay cut and who knows about the rest. Kushida, Jade, and Rhino all have other reasons that make sense to leave, tho Rhino I could see not wanting a pay cut and can see why they'd offer it bc he doesn't have a lot left in the ring either.

I know you jest but I am quite certain TNA knows what profit margins are and ya usually, in wrestling, people don't generally take pay cuts unless the company is doing bad and they want to help.

That being said, I would rather believe if someone was offered a pay cut, I would think it's more of "we would like you to to re sign with us and therefor will offer you less so you can leave on your own accord" .

re:Rhyno , if he is the guy that is a bit different, hes a lifer and u dont low ball those guys, a bit disrespectful to the legacy. but i also understand not being in the red for a guy who brings not a whole lot. id have offered him a backstage role. mb he still thinks he can go tho, u know how wrestlers b

but ya traditionally, wwe and aew simply do not make any offers as opposed to a low ball one, just been a while since we heard such a story (if even true and not just metlzer just rambling like u said)

either way I dont think this latest batch of losses makes much of a difference, its the big 3 leaving that hurts more than anything. these are all just bit players that are replaceable
