So it looks like Mysterio and Kane will continuing feuding. But after this, I really don't see anything left for him to do. It seems like all of his feuds are the same now, and he's been boring to me for a very long time.

He's done nothing to earn himself a spot back in the Title Picture, though him vs Y2J would be great as a match. I really can't see him feuding for the IC Title, there really is a big difference between IC and WHC titles since the draft. He's already feuded with JBL, and Orton a couple of times. He could form a tag team, and that's what they've hinted with him and Bourne.

So, what's left for Rey Mysterio?

He'll be the new Rhino of the WWE, which means he'll just feud with random mid-carders and if they really run out of things to do with him, they'll give him the Intercontinental Championship. Rey will probably float around in the mid-card until someone on creative comes up with a good idea for him

OR...

WWE goes for the only two money matches left in him:

John Cena vs Rey Mysterio (ZOMG, can you imagine the conflict on those kiddies minds?

John Cena vs Batista

He had a good run with Bourne as a tag team, his performance and overall image of the team work was good between the two.
If he doesnt turn heel. He can just concentrate on the tag team division and maybe get a feud with priceless and maybe at one point win the tag team titles from them.

Team Priceless|Mysterio & Bourne feud would be pretty sweet. I'm not a fan of Rey's, but I can admit that the guy is beyond over. WWE should use that to boost Bourne's following, though. Evan needs to be pushed as the next poster boy for fast-paced, high-flying, risk-taking wrestling. He's got it down to a science and the fans are already behind him in the short time he's been around.

Other than that, I could see Rey giving the Intercontinental Championship some credibility.

As cool as Rey & Bourne could be, If WWE had any long term use for a midget high-flyer team then they totally wasted Londrick...

Turning Rey heel is never gonna work.... His style of wrestling alone prevents that.

They should have sent him to ECW in the draft rather than Matt Hardy.

Possible 'menu' for Rey:

Vs Y2J once he drops the title...
Vs Regal
Vs Cade
Vs Manu
Vs Birchill (subject to him ever being on TV again!)
Vs Priceless (With Bourne)

Mid-card or bust for Mr 619.

A Cena/Mysterio feud would kick ass, as would a Tista/Mysterio feud, perhaps for Mania. Him and Jericho can also have some meaningful matches, and... Mysterio/HBK would be... damn, I'd love for this one to happen.

I'm surprised many people have overlooked the possibilty of a program with Mysterio & Michaels, I've heard people call that a dream match a couple of times (even if they did wrestle on the Eddie tribute show).

Right now, Rey has a lot he has already done and there's not much left. But isn't that the case for everyone? HBK, Cena, Orton, there is almost nobody they haven't feuded with who is in the Raw Main Event scene? Creative will more than likely chuck Mysterio into some recycled feuds once his program with Kane is done.

^^^I think Rey's size + his character is the problem and what seperates him from the ME guys you have mentioned.

You could add Orton to my original prospective list of heels for him to face, but once he fully returns, IMO Orton is title-bound sooner rather than later whereas I seriously doubt the same can be said to Rey (I certainly don't see him as a bonfide ME-er like HHH, Orton, Cena, HBK, Taker, Edge etc.).

Under what circustances could the gen pop hate rey?

If instead of using his size to generate sympathy he can use it to generate heat.

For example: he takes a beating in order to get the fans on his side. As a heel we can do the same but when he fires back he can make the fans boo him.

It would require a solid promo on his part about he has always been held down because of his size and how no matter how hard he worked he never felt the fans truly believed in him.

So then when he gets in the ring. He still for the most part does all his big spots, throw in a little cheating though and you have a heel Rey.

after this feud, if they wanna try to bulid some of the young talent, Maybe a future with one of the 3 members of team priceless or maybe Santino marella...

Y2J vs Mysterio feud would be good, but i doubt it would be a PPV world championship match in Vince Mcmahon vision at the moment...

or they could re-enlight the rival of JBL/Mysterio in one last stretch to get JBL Over.....

There is alot of options for Mysterio after this Feud with Kane... Personally i am wondering what is next for Kane after this program...

Actually MS that would be very interesting and a long shot, becuase of how much the fans love Mysterio's in ring work. So the outcome could be what you don't expect.
