WWE Undergoing Releases

yeah I just thought that big program with LA Knight was early 2.0 which was Shawn but with Prichard overlooking shit still. my timeline could be off though I'm going off memory

Yeah, that was Black and Gold. In 2.0 LA Knight was involved in the WEIRD introduction of Bron Breaker (I WILL USE ONE K, THAT IS TOO MANY K'S) where LA Knight, cocky, but "smart" heel, getting himself involved in a match when he's already wrestling later in the night against Bron, meaning he lost twice in one night.

That first episode of 2.0... Was just sooo weird and rough and felt like the opposite of NXT for all the wrong reasons.

It's just the way NXT is, or you could probably say that about other shows on the lower end of the totem pole too i'd imagine. They can take more risks, throw shit at the wall and see what sticks etc that you don't really have the luxury to do on the main shows. Sadly it'll continue being the case that hot / successful acts in NXT won't translate to the main roster, like there's a very real likelihood Chase U would bomb out on the main roster if it got the chance. I think the same could happen with The Family, though that would be much more in the balance.

that is a fair point too (though I maintain in this case, no real chance was ever actually given and I feel like they've given more creative efforts to less talented folks, but I digress). It's fair to say that some stuff that works in NXT's smaller and ''same'' weekly crowd may not work in a larger broader audience.

The only thing I will say is at least Trevor Lee is rich. I know wrestling is his passion but at least he made a ton of money off crypto

It also depends on the show and feuds theyre put in. Chase U and The Family could thrive if they were on Smackdown and in decent feuds. If it were Raw....probably not so much.

Lethal

Tiffy Time
The gimmick change saved him first time around though cos he was almost cut before COVID iirc. The good thing is he’s bound to end up in another company and eat well.
