He just using you as an excuse. He was never gonna do more than post that one post until he saw that he got a lot of traction on it, but he was always going to eventually just leave for the day and never come back.
Apparently you're a smarter than boring Jake. Good for you!
The actual &§$&§ of the show is well known, but if you want I can say something about it. I actually thought enough had already been said on the subject, but what the heck:
It would have been best for Tony not to engage in the CM Punk interview at all. A short Twitter statement something like this: "I know what happened and have the video footage, but I will not be showing wrestlers on my show that I no longer have anything to do with."
There is a saying, “The threat is stronger than the execution.” Tony ignored that. Instead, last week Tony had Copeland babble indirectly about CM Punk and this week he actually showed the backstage video. The only problem is that the video just doesn't do anything to make Tony or AEW look good. Even the AEW live audience partially cheered for Punk. The one who looks bad now is Tony, not Punk. Sure, an AEW superfan can talk nice stuff about it, but let's be realistic. I don't think Perry or Bucks look any better now either.
I don't think AEW is going to break over it, as some people say online. But it was another step backwards for AEW, instead of going forward. One can only hope that Tony gives up the conflict with Punk now. Otherwise, he'll just waste more TV time on a wrestler who doesn't even work for him. Then it's better to show Mina a few more times hitting other women after gargling with
chlorhexadine aphrodisiac.
