Hey that rhymes!

So Burchill was jobbing to Batista this week on Raw.

I really hope they don't make him a jobber.

Burchill owns!

Uh, it's not over. He can' beat Batista, that would be insane. They wanted Batista to beat someone, but also have it someone a bit credible, so Burchillw as a good fit.
I don 't think he's a jobber at all, and the announcers actually put him over pretty well. He's doing alright.

agreed, when I was watching this on raw, I was itching my head for a bit. But came to the conclusion similar to MikeRaws.

Yeah agreed. But still it was a bit weird that he and Katie kinda vanished off the title map and were replaced by Santino and Beth. For a minute I thought "Burchill/Batista? Maybe they're starting Burchill's first big feud" Which was squashed after Batista squashed him..lol.

Yea and on top of that he got the no entrance straight from commercial treatment. That's a no no when trying to get a guy over.

Just reading comments from Cenamark & Noumenon on this topic in another thread.... I fear the worst.

Burchill's sick (I love the sawn-off monster types), but the signs are not good.

1 loss to Batista hardly makes you a jobber. Batista needed someone credible to beat; Burchill.

His push will still be going.

NOBODY beats Batista.

Especially not Burchill, but I'm surprised they dropped his feud with Kofi

^^^Yeah, that's the telling part right there, not the loss to Batista (although IMO they could have at least not made it a squash - That just makes him look shit for no real reason.).

I think Burchill has a lot of talent and may well prove to be better than his countryman William Regal and yeah i do hear good things from Cole and King so i think we have to be patient with his character.

If they're not going to push him towards the IC title they could at least team him with Regal again for the time being. They would make a great heel tag team. Both of these guys are absolutely viscious in the ring..especial Regal lately.

Shame Regal has adopted the worst ring attire known to man... LOL

...But, yeah, they're both beasts. Just unfortunate that even if they were to team up they'd just end up jobbing to random face pairings like Cena/Batista as Raw only has one face team (Cryme Tyme) for them to fued with and obviously they must be seen to pose a threat to our current heel champs (Pricelss).

Yeah, Regal's new attire is homosexual.

Him and Burchill were an awesome team, imagine them now? Both heels, and Burchill isn't a pirate; It would be such an awesome team.

I'm not so much worried that Burchill was squashed, more of the lack of ring entrance, and the lack of ring entrance for Katie Lea the next match as well. Those are the kind of signs that say WWE may be putting them back down (again) to FCW, or worse, firing them.

Cool! Lots of replies. Yeah at least he's jobbing to Batista and not Scotty 2 Hotty or someone
