I’m just gonna throw it out there that would be absolute dog shit if anthem tried to turn actual outrage over firing the former Goodwill ambassador of the brand into some kind of storyline from themselves to the fans because I don’t even see what could possibly be the payoff to that.

This would legit win worst promotional tactic of the year for Dave’s observer award thing.
I honestly don't gave a fuck bout Dave. Honestly I have gotten to the point where I myself am just gonna watch wrestling r jou what I enjoy and let sleeping dogs lay because shit is tired af trying to keep up with every bad business etc shit that goes down. Not saying anthem isn't going to succeed and put on a good product but I think it at least deserves a chance.

And that’s fine. Support TNA. I gave anthem a chance and they fired Scott.
I’m not even sure I’ll necessarily quit watching TNA yet, but if I watch it won’t be to give anthem a chance. They already had it.

Most of the creative team is still intact so the product on screen is probably gonna be fine for a little bit at the very least. All I’m saying is this hourglass thing better not be a storyline because that would be bullshit.

As a promotional tactic, yes.
Whether he should be given another shot as performer is entirely another matter.
I don’t have strong opinions on Dream currently but as far as I can tell nothing concrete has even been proven about him. He claims to have receipts on many of the alleged interactions he’s had and I know for a fact one of the first accusers got exposed as a racist and disappeared from the social media space. So it’s hard to say what should be done there. It wasn’t a major promotion, either, right?
Who even hired him, Dynasty? I’ve never heard of them before this. Maybe they’re big and I’ve never seen it before, but my guess is they’ll get more eyeballs than ever. Right or wrong as that may be.
Rita Chatterton shouldn’t have been booked for the same show, though. That was tone deaf.

Joke aside, if this turns out to be some sort of weird storyline, then I hope the company finally does go under. I'm sorry for the fans that hung in all these years as well as the talent, who did the same, but yea... TNA/Impact did a lot of shit, but after all this build back up and the positivity they got from the returning to being TNA, this needs to be it. ...and yea I joked in the past, just like anyone did over all the "This is the end of TNA" things that happened, but honestly, at this point even the die hard fans should feel like it's time. They have been treated like shit time and time again and it's time to let it go.
First thought of mine was they talked to Anthem and demanded something and now basically just signaling that they are united and time is ticking for Anthem to answer or do whatever they wanted.

I'm not as down as you if it's a work Smark, not because I think it will be particularly good, but it means the talent is at least on board and they're cooking something. That would make me happy still, though I do hope they're taking a stand for Scott and this is a real thing whatever it is
