Definitely the Twilight Zone for me. Still so many legendary episodes, and the thing with South Park and The Simpsons is though their peaks were very high, they've also had some pretty miserable lows.

wild that this twilight zone show is so over with so many of you. respect.
For its time (and arguably all times), it was more than just a horror or sci-fi anthology series. It was allegory and very important messages written tastefully and intelligently.

If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend you check out the episodes "Eye of the Beholder", "The Mirror", "Deaths-Head Revisited", "The Changing of the Guard", "He's Alive", "The Masks", and "The Encounter".

(This is of course under the assumption you haven't seen Twilight Zone, if you have and just aren't a fan, then disregard lol)

I would not even say I am not fan, it's just a show that I watched, I don't have any attachment to it one way or another. I will recheck those episodes though, and it makes me happy ppl like it regardless, it is always interesting to see stuff like that get love. I am a Simpsons guy so in a way I am also happy to not see it lose to South park which I tend to feel is a bit overated and worshipped. which ppl used to say about the simpsons before simpsons got mid.

HELL IS NOT A MYTH
I do not know of these miserable lows South Park has allegedly had. For animated comedies, I think it's had the best combination of quality and longevity compared to shows like Simpsons and Family Guy.

I think south park def dipped in quality. I think do has family guy and Simpsons too but could be more on times we live in harder for them.

i would not say it has had big lows like the Simpsons or FG. I just think it has been very samsies for a while, and it suffers from the IRL world being so absurd that making real social issues even more absurd does not hit the same for me.

For me as well there has just been newer more modern comedies that I find hit better. Simpsons while being meh now, I still feel the pocket of 6-10 seasons still hold up better today for me.

2 levels above, 2 steps ahead
The last two seasons of SP and all the specials except the new one were very disappointing. Still voted for it, because the rest is amazing.

Yeah I was going to say the only downside for South Park for me has been the terrible handling of the last few seasons and specials being spread around various streaming services.

Even right now there's a special on Paramount+ that I'm about to watch that just came out. Not really their problem but more of a problem with current streamers I guess.

That being said, all 3 shows deserve to win in their own rights(the whole tournament even)

it's on Pluto TV almost daily. Seems like the comedy central channels rotate that show with beavis and butthead, broad city, and reno911! which are all shows I loved.
