WWE Championship:
Triple H © vs Edge
Edge wins the Royal Rumble and challenges HHH for the belt.
World Heavyweight Championship:
Chris Jericho © vs CM Punk
Punk drops the title to Jericho in the fall, but he never gets his rematch because title matches are granted to the more "established" stars (Cena, Michaels, Batista, etc). At No Way Out, in the Elimination Chamber for the WHC, Punk finally steps up and ends up being the last one to be eliminated. He and Jericho go a good 15-20 minutes in the chamber alone at the end, but Jericho wins. Here is Punk's time to get Jericho alone, one on one, to get his title back.
Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker
Michaels turns heel late 2008 when he walks out on Triple H in their match against Batista/Orton. At the Rumble, Taker eliminates Michaels the same way as two years ago. This time Michaels goes back into the ring and takes Taker back in return. Buildup from there. Michaels says that he retired Flair last year and this year he's going to tarnish the only good thing about the Undertaker. Like Kane, this is Taker's unnannounced last match. After he beats Michaels, Taker walks up the ramp to where Kane has appeared. The lights go off and when they come back on, the brothers are gone. We never see them again.
John Cena vs Batista
Batista turns heel in the fall some time, probably against Rey Mysterio. These two's egos have been clashing for some time- they both got counted out by brawling on the outside in the traditional survivor series match, they both eliminated each other at the Rumble, and after Cena eliminated Batista at the NWO Elimination Chamber, Batista attacked Cena causing him to be eliminated as well. This is their first one-on-one match and it's got that "big match feel."
United States Championship:
Mr. Kennedy © vs William Regal
Regal returns early next year, this time to Smackdown since he was fired from Raw. He wants revenge on Kennedy and he could think of no other way than to take the strap off of him. Throw a little bit of America vs Britain in there and the Dallas fans will eat it up.
Kane vs Randy Orton
Not much buildup here, the feud can start at No Way Out. It's kind of a throw together, only to serve as Kane's last match. It's not built as such, but we don't see Kane after tonight.
Two fall match
1st fall: WWE Tag Team Championships
2nd Fall: World Tag Team Championship
DiBiase and Rhodes © vs Freakin' Ricans ©[Carlito and the brother they've been looking to sign for a while] vs Cryme Tyme vs New British Bulldogs [DH Smith and a random British guy they signed]
Just have the tag belts switch shows so that SOMETHING interesting happens.
Umaga vs Big Show
Since his debut on Smackdown, Umaga has been undefeated. He's gone over everybody from Benjamin to Triple H. This is the ultimate showdown though. He's always used his power and strength to his advantage, but against the Big Show it may prove useless.
Money in the Bank:
Lance Cade vs MVP vs Miz vs Kingston vs Benjamin vs JBL vs Finlay vs Matt Hardy
Cade is still getting the rub from World Champion Chris Jericho. MVP got a good rub from a title feud with Triple H. Miz had a long reign as US Champion. Kingston is meh. Benjamin got a good rub in a feud with Undertaker. JBL is the big guy in the match, probably serving as a landing pad for at least one big bump. Finlay is a former ECW Champion and a pretty solidfied main event jobber. Hardy is the favorite here, having just lost the ECW Championship. I hate the 8-man match, but the WWE seem to love it, so I booked eight. I'd throw it to MVP, but I'd be okay with anybody but Kingston.
ECW Championship:
Evan Bourne © vs John Morrison
Bourne won the belt a few months ago from Morrison and the two are at one win a piece. This is the rubber match and is contested under Extreme rules.
Rey Mysterio vs Jeff Hardy
Mysterio does an open challenge for anybody in the WWE to put on a WrestleMania classic, to which Jeff Hardy accepts. They have a fast-paced opener with a handshake at the end.
