Some potential Silly Season News coming out of the weekend. Michael McDowell is considered the front runner to replace Aric Almirola in the 10 next season. There's just one little hitch in the plan: Almirola still hasn't told SHR what he plans on doing next season. It's been reported that SHR has told Almirola that they need an answer from him within the next 30-60 days.

Other Silly Season News. SVG is expected to make the full-time move to NASCAR in 2024. It seems plausible that Kaulig could make the move for him since they now have an open ride with Justin Haley moving to RWR starting next year. No word on Trackhouse trying to pick up a third charter.

Also, Toyota really wants John Hunter Nemechek in a Cup ride next year. With the Legacy Motor Club move to Toyota, several insiders believe that Toyota may force LMC to ditch Gragson and put JHN in the 42.
