Batista - from Smackdown!
Kane - from ECW

Smackdown! got:

Jeff Hardy - from Raw
Jim Ross - from Raw
Umaga - from Raw
Mr. Kennedy - from Raw
Triple H - from Raw

ECW got:

Matt Hardy - from Smackdown!

So what are your thoughts on the draft. Smackdown! lost three and gained five. so they gained two. Raw gained five and lost five, so they stayed even. ECW gained one and lost two, so they lost one. I obviously think ECW was gyped. Smackdown! did good. Raw did good.

A bunch of the titles switched.

Raw got the ECW Title
ECW got the U.S. Title
Smackdown! got the WWE title.

So what are your thoughts.

I'm not going to complain... Raw is taking ECW to get it more exposure from what I read. I see Show getting the title and taking it to ECW. The draft was great.. Smackdown gets Triple H plus a few more Main Eventers.. but loses the USA title... wtf?

I think the Trip to Smackdown is temporary... He'll win at Royal Rumble and come back for the WHC at WM25. No way they're pushing Smackdown as the A-Show. Even the commentators were saying "Wow Raw is stacked blah blah". Tazz was hilarious... "Oh I guess I'm done commentating.." as Matt gets thrown over the top..

But shit ECW what's going on? Big show on Smackdown vs Kane on RAW for the ECW belt? Shit Mark Henry might win it from whoever gets the belt after Vengeance.

Matt Hardy bringing the U.S. to ECW? I hope he loses it to a smackdown star... Because once the ECW belt goes back to ECW (And it will. They stripped Bobby Lashley of the title when he went to Raw so since they aren't doing that this time... Somehow its coming back to ECW)... Then we'll have 3 belts on a 1 hour show. I don't see Horny/Finley winning the tags but that's an alternative... *Cough* worse option.

Ugh this is giving me a tumor.

I don't think ECW got screwed or anything at all...Sure they didn't break even or gain any...but what can you expect...they're still sitting at a 1 hour timeslot...So you could'nt expect them to recieve amazing draft result...besides if you figure...Technically the wrestlers Smackdown recieved will most likely be making appearences on ECW anyways...

isnt ECW going to be taped with Raw now? so Kane can keep the title and still show up on ECW for a little bit until he loses it. ECW needs more wrestlers also. I know that they are only 1 hour but if they are going to have the US and ECW title they need more wrestlers.

HHH will probably end up getting traded back to Raw again and I can see it being Punk, Santino and Carlito being traded. Vickie will say yes just to get HHH away from Edge.

Hopefully this Batista and Orton thing happens. I would love to see this stable more than the Jericho or Next Gen stables.

Smackdown is the winner of this draft. They got stacked. RAW just added the same old shit atop of their already old shit roster minus CM Punk, he's not old, but still shit.

Anyway, to the Draft, I really dont think ECW got screwed at all. I mean look at what they really got. So what Matt is on ECW and Jeff is on SD. Miz was on SD and Morrison on ECW and they got the belts. So buddy the Hardy Boyz are ALIVE!?

Then what else do we got? Ah yes, HHH keeping the WWE belt on SD and Edge loses it to Tista on Raw.

Everything will work its way out.

But overall the draft was awesome. How they did it this year with the matches and shit it really kept you watching for the whole show. They had new match ups and could do the awkward bookings because it was no feud. So could see some of how the different superstars would react to one another. Who would have thought that HHH could beat Mark Henry, to later find out he would probably end up in some sort of feud or further matches with the Silverback.

But this whole thing has definitely sparked my interest.

I'm pretty sure both Miz and Morison were on ECW when they won the titles and had been for a while...and as for the Hardy's...I'm pretty sure the whole reason they were put on diffrent shows was so that thye wouldn't get paired back together...They both wanna pursue singles careers...and both have there's up and going...

the draft was targeted at making Smackdown a better place. and making ECW worse. but they have gained a good wrestler, matt hardy, but the loss of Punk will even the talent out. i would like to see CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy.

ECW still has Shelton, MnM, Kofi, Evan Bourne, and some others that are pretty up-and-coming...

WWE is just cleaning up ECW and making it a developmental territory. They pushed Kane back into being credible, so it's time for him to move. They made CM Punk and upper midcarder, so a big show will end the job.

Now ECW will have to push into new levels Shelton Benjamin and Kofi Kingston. I can see one of those two leaving ECW on the next draft

I still can't believe that Trips got drafted. There's gotta be a catch. Watch him and Edge retain then they send him back to RAW because they don't have a world title. Or they might have a huge star from RAW get traded for HHH. But if somehow Trips really will be on Smackdown i will be very pleased because it will refreshen his career. To me he's just so stale on RAW. He needs a change and i hope this is the change he will get. On a another note Mr.Kennedy welcome back to Smackdown!

 

[Headfirst For Hardcore]

The draft was a little predictable, and with all the switching of the titles, it was just a little too messy. But having the Draft before Night of Champions is a little bit confusing like it was said dozens of times before.

I'll overanalyze the draft picks right now...
Raw got:

Rey Mysterio - this was really surprising. In my mind, Mysterio is the face of Smackdown, especially with the younger audience. I really don't see Rey doing that much on Raw, they already have top faces with Batista and Cena and HBK.
CM Punk - This was a good decision, though it was predictable. He could become another top face on Raw, and once he cashes in the MITB, it'll elevate him more, even if he loses. There's lots of really good feud potential, especially with Jericho being on Raw.
Michael Cole - Cole is the voice of Smackdown, and I really didn't want to see him go. It'll be really awkward hearing Cole and Lawler announce together for a long time.
Batista - He already went against almost everyone already on Smackdown, and after the thing with Edge ends on Sunday, he could have OK feuds. Cena vs Batista would be a huge feud for Wrestlemania, like a modern day version of Warrior vs Hogan.
Kane - He did an OK job on ECW, feuding with Chavo the whole time, and having Punk elevated. He'll go back to the role of big guy to lose lots of matches, but still be competitive.

Smackdown! got:

Jeff Hardy - Hardy has more potential on Smackdown, with Edge, MVP and HHH on the blue brand. He could actually win the title, but wait, HHH is there too, so nevermind.
Jim Ross - I felt really bad for JR, he looked like he was going to cry last night after he was drafted. Foley and JR should be a nice combo, but it just won't be the same on Smackdown.
Umaga - he'll be doing the same job on Raw, the big guy that has big losses to pushed guys.
Mr. Kennedy - With him as a face, he could have some better feuds, but Smackdown might slowly start to look how Raw did the past couple of months.
Triple H - He could turn heel and win the belt, which is what I'm expecting. This was pretty surprising, but he'll probably dominate on SD, which could be either a good or bad thing.

ECW got:

Matt Hardy - He could be like Kane, losing to the younger heels and making them look better. This move was pretty odd, I really thought ECW would get a younger guy like Carlito.
