see this is where I wholeheartedly disagree. Cody doesn't need to end the reign. The story has always been about Family and Jey is Family. It started with him. It should END win him. Roman gets the Championship back at the Rumble, Cody wins the Championship at Mania.

I think Jey being the first to beat him in 3 and a half years is enough.

But Cody being the one to take the title and end the tyranny just feels right
