Evan Bourne

We all know that Evan Bourne (matt sydal) is in WWE and on the ECW roster, and we all know that he is good. Not only is he good but Vince McMahon must really like this, first of all he let him get alot of offence in on Shelton Benjamen in his first match and then Vince moved him onto the actually roster. If anybody has missed his last match watch this and you will be really impressed...

Now if you watched that you would have seen Evan Bourne do the shooting Star press, a move that was banned from WWE in 2004 I think. Vince likes Bourne so much that he let him use it, that is how confident he is in Evan Bourne. So what are your thoughts on him?

hes better than half the superstars on ecw
wwe should push him to a main eventer on ecw and make him fight cm punk, now that will be a great match.

I really like him. I think he adds some excitement to the matches, and from the people on here, its obviously generated some interest in ECW with his style...
He wont be a standout star, I know that, so if anyone thinks he'll be a legend, your wrong. But hes still very good, and will get some good crowd reactions I think, as well as some awesome matches.

Bourne is awesome there is no doubt. He always has been, he is athleticism. Simple.

He won't win a major title imo, but he could always be a chance to become an ECW Champion. He was OVW Champion, so that means some people obviously do like him.

He is one of my favourite wrestlers in the world, and I hope he doesn't end up in a generic tag team (see Londrick), but it is always a possibility. I hope he dioes succeed to some degree with his WWE career.

I've watched Sydal since he was in ROH and I've always been impressed by him. He can go very far in WWE, the only thing holding him back is his size.

That didn't hold back Rey Mysterio, or Gregory Helms getting pushed to some level. Hell, Finlay isn't a big man himself. So, obviously by the names I have given it doesn't promises a main event career, but he can always make himself a major uppermidcarder name.


BTW, lol, but Matt Striker also impressed me in this match.

Striker can put on a really good match, he just never gets the chance. I hope that his size doesn't hold him back, but I can't help from thinking that it will.

He's a huge addition to ECW if you ask me. Every match that i've seen so far of him has impressed me. Obvisually he knows what hes doing in the ring (which is why he was able to use the Shooting Star Press) which makes his matches a ton of a lot better. I always saw WWE bringing back the Cruiserweight title someday... he would make a champ in my opinion. As for ECW, I see him winning the ECW title someday.. him main eventing in ECW would be gold. I can't see him going too far due to his size but I could see him as a USA contender some time in the new future. If wwe wants Cruiserweight action back... use him.

Am I the only one who considers the Cruiserweight Division a step back? Call me crazy, but I'd rather see Evan Bourne wrestle and win some lose some to Mike Knox, getting some ECW credibility, than wrestling Jamie Noble for the CW Title and the crowd not giving a shit, like they always did for that division.

I desperately hope WWe brings back the CW Division and does it right. It doesn't even have to be a big main event storyline thing, just maybe 5-10 minute matches to fire up the crowd. They could chuck these guys in-

See, that is exactly what I am talking about. Why would Kofi fight for the CW title when with the right push, as of right now, he can be on the ECW Championship picture.

Or when Jamie Noble can go and have good feuds or storylines like his interaction with Vickie or his Palumbo feud.

Helms can be an uppermidcarder with the heel heat he can generate, and my feelings with Evan Bourne I already slated them.

CW Division only stops wrestlers.


Oh and seriously....Super Crazy? The World Heaviest "Cruiserweight", the "cruiserweight" that botches Hurricanranas? No thanks.

My point is, WWE could make the CW Division great, like WCW did. WCW Cruiserweights were awesome, and brought out huge stars like Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho

Or WWE could pull out an entirely new Cruiserweight Division, hve Bourne carry it to a respectable level and make it feature not filler. It could be like how TNA Knockouts arethe highest rated part of TNA, while WWE hardly has a Womens Division. The CW Division has potential to be a great part of the show, just like in WCW

and Chavo Guerrero isnt big but he has still won alot of WWE gold including ECW world title most recently. Matt Sydal couls quite easily be a huge name in WWE (same with Jamie Noble).

It's so awesome having Sydal on ECW...it's the perfect spot for him, for the simple fact that every since the retirement of the CW title...ECW is pretty much the only place for someone with Sydal's ability to survive now adays...

...and as for how far i think he will go...As long as they get Big Show and Kane off ECW...I could see him going all the wy...If not...The only way i see him gettin gbig is if they bring in another title...As i jus tdon't think someone like Sydal could go over Big Show and Kane...

As for what i think of Sydal...I find myself marking the hell out for him during his matches...he has some amazing moves in his arsonal...Such as the running hurricana...Which is amazing...Also when he hit the Shooting Star Press i went nuts...I hope so much that he keeps that as his finisher...It's been too long since we've seen that move in WWE...
