First, tell us why NL would make the game state different in any way except that one more townie is dead. I'll cop literally the last person it's worth copping, I'll get him as town, no one's opinion changes one bit.

The most frustrating thing here is that less than a 10th of one percent of games don’t have cops. And those very few that don’t are role madness games that also have watches trackers gunsmith and shit like that to give town info. The idea that a basic vanilla game wouldn’t have a cop is absolute nonsense.

Literally not an argument - there is a whole genre of game (called mountainous) that very explicitly has no power roles, and a litany of smaller game setups you can find on the mafiascum wiki that similarly - have no cop.

already have - you force scum to either kill you, or gamble on a coinflip. It provides more information and more time. *nothing* is lost.

Yes. Yes, the vast majority of the game are vanilla townies with one cop one doctor and usually he mafia gf and roleblocker. Basic mafia that has been around since the 80s.

I'm aware, though it only translated to forums proper in the early naughties. Irregardless, you can't just cite a (unevidenced) statistic as proof that *this game* must have a cop.

This post made me realise how fundamentally stupid the current state of play is. Assuming (correctly) that it's you/CP, there's literally no kill scum can make that doesn't inconvenience them in some way. Me or Smark removes their entire argument, Gip keeps the doc alive, and Jeff removes literally the only person who's been willing to entertain this bullshit argument. By all rights this game should already be over but somehow you've managed to coast on "IDK guise maybe Sky gonna Sky and also there's not a cop in a vanilla game"
