ECW's Roster Finally Very Solid?

Looking at the ECW I must admit, it has a very good array of talent.

You have veterans like Kane, Dreamer, Chavo, Richards, and Nunzio while at the same time you have young top talent like CM Punk, John Morrison, and Shelton Benjamin then you have talent like Kofi, Sydal, Miz, Burke, Knox, Delaney, Armando, etc. as great young talent.

Honestly, I think they have a great roster. What do you think on ECW's roster currently?

They could add alittle more people and make it better.
I'm pretty sure Kane will stay and so will Benjamin along with Kofi.
Just give it a couple years and it might be an ok show.

I think your overrating some of the guys...
Come on, stevie richards? Nunzio? You didnt need to include those guys... UI do agree though that they have a solid roster... Nowhere near Raw or smackdowns rosters, but its good enough for ECW. Everyone on there (except a few of the huge guys) can put on a good match, and they have a few guys who are ok on the mic...

ECW with this roster would never be able to survive if it wasnt taped with sd/raw, noone would pay to see it...
But the fact is, it IS with sd/raw, so it works, and its a good "appetizer" brand, and good matches are definite there... I liek the additions theyve made lately with Kingston, Bourne, Delaney and others...

Actually, I said its one of the best hours on WWE tv, not the best. And I totally stand by that statement. Unlike RAW (and sometimes SD) we don't get long drawn-out 20 minute segments which accomplish nothing except announcing the night's main event.

On ECW, we just get right to the match and instead of building up feuds woth long, rambling promos, they actually do it with wrestling.

Edit:I should add this. One of the things that makes ECW stand out among the other brands IS the roster. You have guys like Punk, Sydal, Kofi, Shelton and Morrison who are all incredible athletes and bring an added dimension to their matches that neither the wrestlers on RAW or SD can match.

Those are some fair point's I must admit. You probably do get more in an hour of ECW than you do in the first hour of Raw.

tbh I think in most entertaining that makes me want to watch it right now will go in this order...

SMACKDOWN - ECW (tie)

ECW is good but they need another main event level superstar I mean its good they have up and comers like you have said but you also need someone other than Kane that is a former champion and is not an up and coming superstar and has been around here a while to help them get to the top give them a few wins over people like Kane and make them bigger I think you know where I am going with this...

I really cannot understand how people could watch TNA over Raw or Smackdown. Granted that Raw was shitty on Monday, it is much more consistent than Impact! in my opinion, which has some episodes where they have ridiculous bookings to nights full of great action. Meh, it's your choice

Anyway, ECW's roster is pretty well out. For a one hour show, it has great mach potential. Like Soulpower said, on Smackdown and Raw, we get 20 minute segments where all we got was tonights Main Event and Batista (poorly) trying to pull off a joke.

Plus ECW seems to have the athletic guys, like Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, Shleton Benjamin and John Morrison

i actually don't mind ecw, some weeks might be shit, but they produce more what i want more of.. because it act kinda like a heat as heat product longer wrestling matches... But i would say it pretty solid, i would like if finlay has some opptunity for ecw title...b/cause face it finlay could help the ecw talent much better with horny by his side,, it could develop some extra ratings... as the kids enjoy hornswoggle.... or am i wrong

I agree with what SP said.

ECW looks to be the home for most new talent these days. Exciting young guys too. Koffi, Punk, Sydal, and they have a nice mix of althetic guys like Shelton, Miz, Morrision. They also bring in a raw/sd talent here and there. I still think ECW could use 2-3 more good peices/wrestlers to work with. Someone like a Carlito, Jamie Noble, and maybe someone like a Kenny Dystkra.

Raw/SD is a older roster, with slower matches, and longer Vickie G. Promos. Not much movement on the roster, and very little to be excited about. But at the same time ECW does get stale due to a smaller roster, if they arent careful.
