Door opened or closed?

So this, has me wondering what people here do. Do you sleep with your door open or closed? Had two people both tell me they have their doors open…

I couldn’t do it, I like my privacy.

Never in my life have I ever slept with the door open until I moved here. Since I live on my own and the apartment isn't that big I see no point and this way my cat has freedom at night even if he's just in bed most of the time too

I mainly close mine because my step daughter stays up until all hours of the night and she's fucking loud as hell. So to avoid killing her, I close the door. Seems like a good compromise.

I just you know like my privacy I understand more with folks who live alone or with a wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend/etc and no one else, because then there’s no one to get privacy from since you’re both in the same room. But when you ain’t the only one who lives in the house it’s nice to have the door closed.

Yeah at my parents house my room is right by theirs and my dad likes to turn on every light when he wakes up so my door stays closed if I'm with them lol
