Not sure how Austin would mesh with Roman like he did with Owens but if you get the opportunity to do Austin/Reigns then you're not going to turn it down. Definitely the biggest match they could do if The Rock isn't available. Maybe even bigger to some people.

I don't disagree in terms of the match itself, because I don't see Roman and Austin having a lot of chemistry myself but I could be wrong. Maybe if they just make it hard hitting and a lot of brawling it might work. On paper though and name value, it's cash money.

My preference is Cody or Sami. But Austin eclipses both to the wider audience.

I be fine with this match, anywhere but Mania. Maybe SummerSlam would be better. I want them to give me a match where I wouldn’t be 99% sure(I mean really 100% sure but yeah,) of the winner for the WrestleMania match.

Like even if it’s Cody I would not be shocked if Roman beats Cody and retains. Then they do the switch later on.

Sami would lean really far in Roman’s favor, but….what if? What if they did it and Sami won?

I agree with Minecraft Mob here, I would much prefer this be a Summerslam match, maybe even have it be Romans first match after losing the belt.

Does seem almost too convenient with the Rock reports and points to more red herrings tbh but if this is true and they really only offered this bc Rock pulled out then thats so lazy lol you can still build the match pretty easy bc it'd be Roman trying to prove he's the best by beating someone considered the best but the Rock story had that plus all the other layers
