tbf I don't think anyone really said the deal was closed outside 1 or 2 guys and even then I think it was "as good as done" or something like that wording.

I'm especially curious, regardless of what goes down from here, where the rumor came from because it was obviously leaked by someone of importance to these guys. the who and the why is interesting. could be a simple pump tactic, could be more nefarious.

Usually, yea, it seems impossible... but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an offer on the table from them, but the people in charge don't want to do it and the moment Vince got wind from that, he started to put everything into motion for his return, so he can sign it immediately.

I mean, that would make the speed of this possible. Of course, nothing is set in stone, by the looks of it, so who knows.
