As far as everyone talking about why they got relaesed I think it was a variety of reasons, but the house show altercation with the ref pushed them over the edge. It's unfortunate that it happened and I wish they showed better judgment. I still feel in the long run that they will come back to the WWE.

^I definitely agree with you on that one. I don't know how good they'd be in TNA because I'm guessing the WWE has their gimmick trademarked so they'd need something new. I agree though give it a year or 2 at the most and they'll be back in the WWE.

WWE probably trademarked Cryme Tyme but they can't trademark the names Shad or JTG.

I guess this is an ok idea, I remember him and JTG were over in the WWE. It didnt say anything on JTG though so I guess its only Shad thats going to TNA. If he does sign with TNA, I actually hope he dumps the Cryme Time gimmick. To me, it was pretty racist and steriotypical and some of their antics in WWE just looked like direct shots at Black people.

EDIT: And about those tornadoes...all I can say is WTF!? Thats just crazy

^No they didn't, but they wouldn't be called Cryme Tyme and I highly doubt they'd be allowed to say Money, Money, Yeah, Yeah cuz I'm guessing that's trademarked too.

Edit: Chessarmy,
In case you haven't noticed pretty much every tag team in WWE history is completely racist, not to mention a lot of singles' teams. Hart Foundation, Nation of Domination, Cryme Tyme, Santino Marella, etc. All either have extremely stereotypical theme songs, dress to how their "race" would expect them, or just talk very racist. The WWE on a whole can be a very racist organization lol.

^ So stealing wallets from people and acting like a bunch of thugs who just steal shit and sell it to people because all they want is money isnt a shot at Black people? C'mon, you know it was very steriotypical and a gimmick that should never be used again

EDIT: I guess your right about all those teams, but I still think Cryme Tyme was a little too much

^I wasn't arguing with your point in the least bit. My first paragraph was in reference to the post above you. I couldn't agree more, it's 100% stereotyping. As I said it's nothing new for the WWE, they've always kind of done it. However Cryme Tyme was so over and people liked them so much that no one really cared. But like I said I completely agree it could be seen as rascist. I personally though have no problem with it because I'm not black, but I guess some people could be ofended by it.

Whilst I share similar reservations about the Cryme Tyme gimmick, Isn't that a MASSIVE generalisation?

Yeah, there's The Highlanders, La Resistance, Eddie & Chavo, but otherwise I'm strugglin'....

Example: I wouldn't consider a team like the Bulldogs to be racist... They didn't play up the britishness at all apart from their tights (which I see more as an identifier for the team).

...Ignorant and somewhat zenophobic maybe (If it was down to WWE's "hailing from..." announcements you'd be forgiven for thinking that London, Leeds & Manchester are all the same place, not south, midlle & north respectively. But that's another story.....

p.s. What's a "singles team"? LOL
