So did mine. She loved cooking and made big meals for holidays. Especially loved her homemade cookies. Miss her still even almost a year later

I think it’s one of the things I’m gonna miss the most, besides missing her herself, is her cooking.

Yep, a teddy bear named Marble was the last parting gift from her. But the morning the day before she passed, a teacher, who knew I missed time due to her illness, wrote a note for me to send a to my mom to read to her. It was "Dear [Name}'s Grandma, I am just writing to tell you how much of a great student they are. Their empathy for others, hard work, and sense of humour makes them a joy to teach"
