Even if you did people would still care because of Gawd and all

I'm usually reminded of this line of dialogue from The Exorcist III, maybe it's offensive, who cares. It generally sums up my thoughts on thinking God really cares enough to hate gays, transgender people, or atheists:

Kinderman: The whole world is a homicide victim, Father. Would a God who is good invent something like that? Plainly speaking, it's a lousy idea. It's not popular. It's not a winner.
Father Dyer: There you go, blaming God.
Kinderman: Who should I blame? Phil Rizzuto?
Father Dyer: You wouldn't want to live forever.
Kinderman: Yes, I would.
Father Dyer: No, you wouldn't. You'd get bored.
Kinderman: I have hobbies. In the meantime, we have cancer and mongoloid babies and murderers, monsters prowling the planet, even prowling this neighborhood, Father... right now, while our children suffer... and our loved ones die, and your God goes waltzing blithely through the universe like some kind of cosmic Billie Burke.
Father Dyer: Bill, it all works out right.
Kinderman: When?
Father Dyer: At the end of time.
Kinderman: That soon?

:francis I will brook no Exorcist III disrespect. Especially since I think it is actually a better movie than the original.

That's fine. I think the original one is a bit overrated.

I was hoping you caught the joke, since most only know the two movies. I know the difference and I do like III out of all of them

Your mistake in that is thinking God hates gay people....or anyone for that matter.

It should have been either a Constitutional Amendment or left to the states to decide individually. As the Constitution says.
It does. The 14th amendment.

That is your interpretation. I along with many Constitutional and legal scholars disagree. You can't just use a vague interpretation to justify it. That same argument could be said for many things. Some people might think it is their 'liberty' to speed and no state can make laws against it.

How many of those are conservatives who also use the Bible for every fucking thing?

Everyone just know they are some of us out here who believe in God, and everything but also believe in Equal Rights and no one being discriminated against. I’m sorry for the folks who try to use the Bible for evil.

There is no interruption to equal. You either mean equal or you don’t.
