If they were really gonna go with Randy, I wonder what Brock would’ve done at Summerslam

Nothing. I believe Brock was originally scheduled for MITB when they were gonna do the stadium show, then after that got moved I think they pulled him, pivoted to Riddle/Roman but then that obviously moved aswell.

It is. They're probably the #3 and #4 PPV so it's pretty much swings and roundabouts in that sense. He was definitely on the poster for MITB before that got changed twice and then the location.

Pretty sure since post-Mania all of the sheets have been running with Riddle and then Orton at SummerSlam, so I don't think it's far fetched to say Brock was the emergency call for SummerSlam.

To be fair, this pairing is a proven money-maker. Some of the IWC may be tired of it, but casual fans aren't. And if SummerSlam sells out, expect that they will do it again.
