I know she loves Captain Marvel but she's acting like Captain Marvel is the reason why we beat Thanos. Makes me think in Dragon Ball Z after the Cell Saga Hercule had a Live Action Film done to show he beat Cell vs the actual person who got it done in Teen Gohan

Hey now some of those CW Shows are pretty good even though I shake my head sometimes like what I am I watching right now. I thought the first Episode for Ms. Marvel was a pretty good start to the Season. The family dynamic of her Mother especially wanting to Pigeon hole her as a Woman and a person because that is what our Culture does was sad stuff to watch but it's not I haven't seen it in other Shows before with a young Character in a Show before. Girl gets into trouble way too much and I thinking girl if it was my Mom and I was acting up like that she wouldn't hesitate to yoked one of her kids up or especially in High School. I wouldn't dare try to do what Kamala did to rebel against her Parents and granted I can feel it was warranted still I was girl what reality are you living in that you expect to get what you want but you're acting up in School.

We should be getting more info on her powers most likely in the coming Episodes that really interests me and I'm wondering who are the big baddies coming for that power that they are going to fail to do so I dare wonder.

I really really enjoyed what I saw so far. It does indeed feel different from every other marvel show as it’s much much smaller. She’s not going to space or saving the world. She’s just navigating high school with parents and teachers that don’t understand her. This could come across as cliche but the writers handle it well and we got a lot of pretty funny scenes along with some that are deep. The scene where she tells her dad she was embarrassed by him was really sad but you still know where she’s coming from. Iman Vellani is adorable and is just perfect as Kamala while the rest of the cast deliver great performances as well. The MCU is HEAVILY tied into this show which is cool to see. You really understand what it’s like for a teenager living in the MCU who’s obsessed with the Avengers. Overall cool show and I’m looking forward to the rest.

Just watched episode 2. Continues the story in a really fun way as Kamala starts to train to use her powers better and we get a little more insight to her community. I love how this show really shows how the world views superheroes as we see people clapping and taking videos when she saves a kid from falling. The scene was very funny as she clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing but still manages to help. Of course her crush Kamran is not who he appears to be and might have some tie to her and her powers????

I expect good surprises next week.

I thought Episode 2 was better than the pilot. The Kamran/Kamala plot was really great and I feel like they clicked very well. Seeing Kamala try to do good and succeed but with a minor setback (the kid's ankle being hurt) was great for her character. It didn't come off like she was super seasoned yet not too imcompetent. Gives me parallels to Invincible when Mark stops the bank robbers in Episode 1 but with some property damage, which also was done great.

The Side-Characters in general all improved, as I liked Kamala's mother better than episode 1.

8/10 Episode imo

How did the Kamran thing take too long lmao. It was one episode.

It just felt like to me once she saw him they needed to plug him in there constantly to tell you she really likes him and he's going to be important to this Show. First time she see's him in School that is one, the Party Scene where he's showing off that is 2, then him getting in the Car and helping them escape the Police from the Party 3, the Date after the Driving Lesson that is 4 and 5 at the end. I get it we were all in High School and had crushes but damn Marvel I get it you could of cut some of that fat and put in more of the lore and history with her family which had me really interested. I'm looking to Kamran and how they handle him and change things up vs the Comics and if more of those secrets coming to the forefront and it needs to happen this Show is only 6 Episodes.
