“Prey,” an all-new action-thriller from 20th Century Studios directed by Dan Trachtenberg (“The Boys,” “10 Cloverfield Lane”) and the newest entry in the “Predator” franchise, will stream August 5, 2022, exclusively on Hulu.

Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, “Prey” is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.​

This actually has promise, especially when I realised who's directing it. 10 Cloverfield Lane was awesome, and I've heard nothing but good things about The Boys. Liked how the teaser trailer felt, but need to see more.

About damn time they dive into something new going back showing that the Predators have been using us for Game for many many years before the first Film. Now the only lady in lore well in the Comics that has had a wonderful Arc is Machiko Noguchi[Google and research). She kicked so much ass in the Comics that she was the lone female and human to be able to join the Predators. They took her in and trust me they didn't make it easy for her and I would love to see Naru if this works out the Predators wanting her to join their group but I'm fantasy booking there.

I remember Mel Gibson's Apocalypto had the characters speak Yucatec Mayan through the whole movie and it really helped with the immersion.

Chills I didn't recognize the name for Naru but after looking at her again Amber Midthunder is someone I do remember. She was in one of the most underrated Shows of all Time involving a Character from a Comic or Manga in Legion. She was freaking great in that time highly recommend people watch Legion it was bonkers way before Loki, Wandavision, or Dr.Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. ^ Fuck yeah!

Alot of people don't know this about me that on my Mom's Dad side he's Half Cherokee and Half Puerto Rican so those Roots are deep within me to see my fellow Native Americans killing it in this Film. I love the very different look of The Predator in this as well. It seems very likely she is going to be last ones of her Tribe because you see your fighting the Predator at night and you don't see anyone else around but it's just a clip. Still I wanna see this Film like right now!

Sonny Landham's character in Predator was Comanche in the books also.

And had a longer story arc than the movie had.
