Release Date: December 2022
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

Sure the visuals will be great, but I don't know about everything else. I never got in to it beyond that. I've got no doubt it should do well at the box office though I'd imagine. The first was a huge hit.

The hype for it just isn't there like the first one.

Sequels that took forever to get made have all failed at the box office, not to mention movies like Shazam and Puss In Boots supposedly being out at the same time and who knows, Disney might decide to be dicks and push back a Marvel movie like Thor to December.

I'm just feeling like this could be the new most expensive bomb.

Yean truthfully I wasn't blown away from that Trailer at all. I thought the look and feel about the first Film was great for it's time but it's not like the Story was something I needed to dive into again. The Village is needing to be protected and so we need a Sequel to do that again and a few more times. Let's see what that full Trailer looks like because right now I'm like Cameron you should of used that intelligent brain and money on something else.

I actually don't have any beef with the first film, never saw it in theaters even but way later after hyped died down and thought it was good. Still though, I have like no hype for this lmao. I think there's some stories you can tell, but at this point I don't have much faith we'll get anything more than some basic plot with blue people

I watched the first one in theaters and in 3D....after I got past the pretty colours and flora a fauna.....all I was left with was a dodgy scripted white saviour tropefest.

Like I wanted to watch Dances With BBlue Cats.

Oh it did probably help that I didn't watch Dances with Wolves until a few years later :heston

Lmao everyone doubting James Cameron after all these years. This movie is gonna tear up the box office I’m sure of it.

The trailer looked amazing in the cinema just before Doctor Strange. If the scenario is actually interesting this time, I am looking forward to this. This might even be the first movie I will see in 3-D at the cinema in 12 years.

I’m not really sure what’s so hard to enjoy a movie lol. Even if you thought Avatar 1 didn’t have a great story, it was still an enjoyable film lmao.

Hi, I'm Chucky. Wanna play?
I wasn't floored by the first one, but at the time the visual was pretty amazing to see. I hope this translates after so many years. The trailer looked pretty cool, though.
