Will Smith slaps and yells at Chris Rock during the 2022 Oscars

I said how I feel enough about what Rock said about Jada in the Hana Chat or whether it was right or wrong to slap him sometimes you just to put people in their place. The only thing that sucks about this is this will be the talk rather than the Oscar Winners. Listen when I saw what Will did it took me back to a time when my Dad put his hands on my Mom and pushed her into the Christmas Tree because he didn't like a comment of him being drunk and acting a fool which he was at the time in 2008 that night. This was the start of me being in Motels at the time and I was 20 and all I saw was her fall down and not get up and I quickly went to her telling my Brother Anthony to back up. I could of done nothing called the Cops right but as soon I knew she was okay I turned around and hit my Dad with a 3 piece and he went down the floor not knowing where he was.

I wasn't proud of it in that moment but I was protecting my Mom and I can understand losing control of yourself. Rock knows what Jada has been going through with her hair condition and he thought were cool I can just say any joke with the Smith and it will be fine wrong. Clearly that a no no and I bet in the coming days Rock will apologize and hopefully hashes it with Smith. Smith needs to apologize to Rock as well I feel. As much I said Rock earned that one he got slapped on TV and God knows what that does to his psyche.

Trying to figure out this life thing, what about you
This was awkward to watch last night. I was surprised at how well Chris Rock kept his composure live on TV.

Me too, props to him for keeping the show going.
While I admire a man who stands up for his wife, I think Will Smith overreacted. I'm ready to bet she asked him to do this. She always seemed like a very manipulative and condescending woman and he's a bit of a simp (remember when she outed him as a cuck in front of the whole world two years ago?)

I'm not saying that cracking jokes about somebody's disease is OK, but Chris was obviously not trying to be mean, it's what comedians do, they make fun of everyone. I remember someone making a joke about Stevie Wonder's blindness during a ceremony like this and the guy laughed it off with them.

Fancy a slice?
Comedians make jokes.
If people are just allowed to walk onto the stage and start slapping comedians - smh.
Its just straight up assault.

Who would’ve thought missing I’d be upset about missing the Oscars :DEAD2:

In all seriousness, I think Will definitely overreacted. The joke wasn’t in bad taste; it was just a bad joke. But you definitely can’t just assault someone on live television in front of millions.

I’m assuming Will has gotten tired of being the butt of the joke like he’s been the last few years.

I think the other thing that's missing contextually is that this is not the first time that Chris Rock has publicly made light of Jada's alopecia on stage at the Oscar's.

Alopecia is a condition that Jada in the past has openly talked about struggling with. It's also what Steve Austin had in the past, which is why he shaved himself bald.

There's no excusing what Will Smith did, but both guys are such fucking dweebs anyways.

Can fuck his wife infront of him....but keep his wifes name out your fucking mouth.

Also just from the media coverage of this, you'd think a bomb went off.
