I've officially redesignated this thread as "The Russo-Ukrainian War Thread" until further notice. This is a major political event, and one of the biggest world changing events of my lifetime. Other political topics can be discussed here, but as of now the Russian Invasion of Ukraine will be the major topic.

I do wonder how many people are actually announcing the names of the people and cities since to some it looks like a complete mess. Also, if any Russian solider gives up and refuses to fight then by law in Russia they are instantly guilty and will be executed. The fast a mayor is taking up arms isn't surprising to me since as I said Eastern Europeans fight to the end, no matter the cost especially if it is their homeland. And again, I give Grim props for keeping me informed...almost makes me want to make him a unofficial Slavic Brother.

Agreed, and the fact he is using a MiG-29 and taking down SU-25s/27s/35s is interesting since those are some of the top tier Russian Fighters.
