What's the Best Gen 1 Pokemon Starter?

You all know me and my Pokemon obsession? Over 300 hours on Pokemon Ultra Sun, me using almost all Pokemon avatars on here for a couple of years, my hype for the new games, etc. Well, even the most casual Pokemon fan and most non-fans know of the three main starters from the first games (and Pikachu but we won't count it or Eevee here... and if I would have, Eevee all day long). Those three pokemon are Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. So, who's your fav?

Squirtle just because it was my first and it is a tank that can both take hits and dish out hits as well. Bulbasaur is a close second with Charmander being last. If I looked at from a competitive standpoint I would switch Bulbasaur and Squirtle around.

Charmander because Charizard is a fucking beast.

Squirtle. Water types are always the best to start with, at least for me. I prefer Blastoise over the other 3rd evolutions as well.
