Brock Lesnar is the modern version of Andre the Giant

I think Vince looks at Brock as a modern day Andre the Giant. Just look at the way he is booked. Hes a special attraction. Once in a lifetime athlete/spectacle (just like how Andre was in regards to his size). Athleticism for Brocks size is something more unique since weve already seen so many big wrestlers (Big Show, Great Khali, Braun Strowman, etc) Hes booked as nearly unbeatable with only the very top guys like Roman Reigns can beat him (similar to Hulk Hogan going over Andre). The obvious difference is that Lesnar is all about the money and doesnt care for the wrestling business like Andre. Brock is known all throughout the world and doesnt like people and hardly interacts with the fans, similar to Andre. Brock also provides a sort of "realness" to his wrestling style as being unbeatable due to his credentials, similar to how Andre was booked to be unbeatable (even lifting Andre up for a powerslam was considered a big deal). Right now Lesnar is the biggest heel in the company who has the most heat because modern day wrestling fans cheer the darling indy heels (Owens, Nakamura, Samoa Joe, Zayn, Macintyre, etc)

Brock is booked the way he is booked because he won't work for Vince if he is booked to look week. Simple as that.
He is not a die-hard wrestler. He does it for the money and his "image". Brock doesn't need Vince... Vince needs Brock.

personality with an almost mystical aura about him...while Lesnar is
just a lazy thug who is boring & predictable in the ring.

Honestly...I just don't see Lesnar's appeal...but then maybe I care
more that just about a wrestlers reputation & past deeds.

Frankly...comparing the two is a bit of stretch as far as I'm concerned...
but then "different strokes for different folks" I guess.

I will admit...Lesnar is a great seller when he wants to be.

I actually think its the opposite. I dont think Brock does that much politicking with Vince to make himself look "strong"

I think hes paid comfortably enough to listen to whatever his boss wants him to ultimately do. I just think that Vince doesnt want to make Lesnar look weak because then Lesnar would lose value. But i really dont see Lesnar being the type that cares enough to whine backstage if hes not going over. He gets paid enough that he will do what hes told. Lesnar and Vince just both know the value in him. Lesnar is smart enough to know when it would be best for business for him to put someone over (Goldberg for example)

Another example why Lesnar is the top heel in the company. Miles ahead of anyone else. Who else in WWE has as much heat as Brock does? NO ONE comes close!

I see it, and honestly I like the booking idea. It's just I'm not huge on Lesnar being champion, but with him not appearing often it makes the Intercontinental Championship more relevant.

I hope the NWA can make a bit of a come back. Never really had it here as a kid it was WWF all the way but we kinda knew who Flair and Sting were via VHS videos and wrestling magazines.
