9/10

Only complaints were of the abrupt ending due to time and the giant dicks making me feel very uncomfortable...

I think regardless, it was just a fun show which I think is missing a lot from wrestling. Some of these matches were literally just "Hey, Dream match" or "Let's give these guys a good match" and it worked and even then, there were stories in it. Penta El Zero and Kenny throwing themselves into each other, Marty attempting to out-power Okada and failing multiple times, Hangman Page trying to murder Joey Janela, Cody's comeback. It was just an enjoyable show.

And when 10,000 people chant "Rest in Penis" people are having a good time.

I'll be honest, wasn't a fan. At the end of the day this was a wrestling show where wrestlers wrestled. Crazy, right? Problem is, wrestling is the least important part of wrestling, at least for guys like me. Don't get me wrong, wrestling is required, it looks badass and great wrestling can make a meh feud cool, but this show felt like guys fighting, the end. Pentagon and Omega had a dinger of a match, but it doesn't mean anything. That main event was awesome, but nothing will come of it. It's not like these were blow offs either, sans Cody vs Nick and Page vs Joey, they were all matches will no personal beef, which can work in some cases. Rollins vs Owens for example, just a really great match, Balor vs Styles from TLC last year, just a really great match. Difference is, if it's "Just a really great match" over and over it doesn't feel special. At the end of the day four matches felt special to me, the two title matches (NWA had build and ROH had a big match earlier in the show), Okada vs Schrull (one of the only matches where they actually had any story, that being Marty proving he can hang with the heavies), and my personal MoTN, Page vs Janela. Sure it was ridiculous, but it had a story, it had heart, it had spots that could only be done in this one match - thus making it special - and it had something actually happen in the end with the res-erection of Joey Ryan. That last part especially, something happened! I love subtle storytelling, but subtle storytelling is the seasoning on the steak. It makes it better than any other steak. The steak here is actual story. This show had a good amount of subtle storytelling, but there was no steak to season, and sorry babe, but I don't lick tables. Cody v Aldis has a nice steak, Okada v Schrull has a good steak, Lethal v Flip had half of a steak, Page v Janela had a juicy steak, and everything else was licking tables.

And no, I'm not some blatant wrestling hater. Storytelling is the steak, subtle storytelling is the seasoning, but wrestling is the potatoes. You need a nice balance of everything to be fully satisfied. Without your potatoes, you won't be full, and you'll get fat by eating desserts to finish the job. NXT and Lucha Underground for example, juicy steak, the right amount of seasoning, and a tasty side of potatoes. Truly a well balanced meal, guaranteed to leave you satisfied AND fit!

Also the finish of Cody v Aldis sucked but that's neither here nor there. Also, hated the commentary, mainly the "LOL, kayfabe!" bits

Really the most heartbreaking thing to me is that watching this didn't make me feel like a revolution is coming, it made me feel like "This is the indy stuff for a reason and WWE is the top for a reason", and considering how much I'm disappointed with the W as of late, that really bummed me out

High 6, low 7, one of the two, but I had a bad morning so I'm going to say high 6 for the vote. Poppa B1skit out

I think this is the reason I stopped watching. I didn't know what the stories were with any of them or even if there were stories going into these matches to begin with. I am sure the matches were great but it had no driving focus for me to keep watching. I tried.

Ngl, I think having it like it was was a good call (ish). Who's watching All In? NJPW and ROH fans, aka pure wrestling fans. Who's only watching it for the gimmick? Sports Entertainment fans. It was a pure wrestling show for a pure wrestling fan. It's beautiful for a pure wrestling fan, but you won't grow that way. If All In is simply a fun show for their fans, A+ good job, if it was meant to make Indy wrestling more popular for a mainstream audience, they didn't do it well. Look at the steak again. I like my steak rare, Seth likes his steak well done, so if you're trying to appeal to everyone, you make your steak medium, so we're both happy. If you want to appeal to someone like me, make it Rare. I'm elated, but Seth isn't. Make it well done, Seth is elated, I'm not. All In decided their loyal audience likes it well done so they went for it. Sure, us rare-ers aren't overly impressed, but we were only going to be here once anyways, the well doners will be back again and again

For those wondering, no, I haven't ate dinner yet

it was ok, I was only really looking forward to 2 matches which where Cody/Aldis & Omega/Pentagon Jr, and those delivered. Both matches were good but it's also what happened after each of them that made them stick out to me. Cody winning the NWA title was just a really nice moment considering his dad's legacy with the belt, and Omega/Pentagon had that sick Jericho attack at the end.
Omega should sell every codebreaker the way he sold the second one. Usually it always looks like he plants himself into Jericho's knees.. sometimes you don't have to do everything different than the rest, just sell it how it makes sense lol.

Overall the crowd was very overenthusiastic about everything given that this was their first event like this but you know, we're gonna have to wait and see how this continues because as much as this was a huge step for indie wrestling, they still have a long way to go if they wanna prove that they can play in the "big league". This was like their little Mania but they packed around as many people, if not a little less, as Raw does weekly so idk.
If I'm looking at the entire card/event, I'd have to echo what @Dr. Hoxo Jr had to say about it, well besides all the steak analogies. Dude, you really gotta eat smth.

I'm also feeling a light 7/10 over here, this event was definitely a bit overhyped in my eyes

Why in the name of wrestling was the NWA Championship so early on the card? Best match. 8/10 for ALL IN. Everything was great, didn't like Joey Ryan or ROH Championship match too much. Best matches were Cody/Aldis and Pentagon/Omega. Loved them.

The best part of the RoH Championship match was seeing Brandi in a 50's Pin Up Army Outfit.
