How would you book the WWE Championship Match at No Mercy?

heres how i would do it:



the first match of the PPV is a Raw Battle Royal with all the males from the roster would compete in
then when its the last 4 Vince or Regal come out and say to stop
because the new champion will not be crowned right now but it will later
in an elimination fatal 4 way match

then in the first Main Event for the night it is the fatal 4 way elimination match
the people are Triple H, Mr. Kennedy, Randy Orton and Val Venis because everyone voted for him
then when there all out in the ring Vince or Regal come out and say theres 5th person in the match
that man is Y2J

Val Venis gets eliminated first
Triple H gets eliminated second
Mr. Kennedy gets eliminated
then Y2J gets eliminated last

Randy Orton is our new WWE Champion

this sets up a match for Cyber Sunday and we pick Ortons opponent
we can only vote for someone if they were in the elimination match

Y2J would have to win if this match actually happened. He isn't coming to come back and job to ORton on his return match. He's definately going to have to win the return match, either in the way you said it or in another match with someone else.

Battle Royal sucks atm, they always use it when a champ stripped out of his title due to injury. I really want to see an Elimination Chamber match. Cancel HHH and Umaga match and put them inside the Chamber. So it will be HHH, Umaga, Carlito, Mr. Kennedy, Randy Orton and the returning Chris Jericho for his 4th EC match... well.. sad to say, this have a 0% chance to happen ....

id like to see trips get title but then again I'm biased and that ain't gonna happen. so id like to see Orton added to the umaga/trips match as the ME with umaga getting took out with sledge hammer leaving trips n Orton to battle it out and trips going for the pin and y2j appears and interferes and costs trips the match Orton wins and then that can set up a big long running feud for all 3 with trips & y2j going after Orton for the title

If they aren't going to do a battle royal, then it probably makes the most sense to add Orton to the HHH/Umaga match. The other choices suck pretty bad, Kennedy isn't ready for the shot at the title and then you have someone like Jeff Hardy who you know isn't winning.

Let's just add Orton in for a triple threat match, and then Umaga can take the pinfall loss and Orton can walk out with the strap and go on to a short feud and then a WM program with HHH.

I would just hand the belt over Hornswoggle and wait for the money to start rolling in; But WWE will probably hold (yet another) 20-Man Battle Royal to crown a new champion.

Predictions: Randy Orton wins the WWE Championship at No Mercy
Then at Cyber Sunday instead of getting a Hell in a Cell match for the title the fans will get the chance to vote for Orton’s opponent, the chooses are 1.) Triple H 2.) Mr. Kennedy 3.) Mystery Person.


Fans vote option three and it turns out to be…..HORNSWOGGLE (HAHA! you thought it would be Chris Jericho didn’t you?) Then in what will become known as the ‘Biggest upset since Appalachian State over Michigan’ Hornswoggle (McMahon) goes onto become the WWE Champion and defends it against the likes of Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy (Step-Ladder match by the way), The Great Khali (ah what a classic this would be), Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Umaga, Mark Henry, & Vince McMahon himself until finally losing it to John Cena when he returns from his injury.

But hey that’s just my prediction.

Heres what I'd do. Personally im not sold on my theory just yet, but i have a few ideas. This would be assuming i had to make a decision right now. I would make a WWE Championship Guantlet match. 8 men, 7 losers, 1 new wwe champion. Now this something they've never ever done on the main event level, but it could work. The Gaunlet rules will be a little different though. Every 5 minutes, a new wrestler comes to the ring, no matter if someone is eliminated or not.

So Heres how i'd write the match, The first man of course is HHH, because Vince hates him, and logically his opponent would be Umaga. These two brawl, for the full 5 minutes, until Carlito is next down. HHH fights them both off, but still get eliminate either. Next down is Jeff Hardy as he helps HHH eliminate Carlito. Next Down is Kennedy, so now we have hhh, hardy, Umaga and Kennedy, Now Jeff Hardy goes for a major spot, and kills himself and he is takin to the back which leaves Kennedy and Umaga to double team HHH, and eliminated him. Next up................. The whole F'n Show RVD returns to Raw! RVD comes in and dominates Kennedy and Umaga, until Umaga begins to destroy him. They brawl for the 5 minutes until Kane from SD comes out. Kane evens up the odds. Kane and Umaga double elminate each other, which leaves RVD taking on KEnnedy and the final man in this Randy Orton. Orton acidentally eliminates Kennedy which leaves us with Orton vs RVD as the final 2. (ONS 2 stretcher match) The heat is already there, RVd is getting a major pop for returning but Ultimately Rand Orton hits the RKO, 1.....2.......3. Not just yet though, and Hardy comes spirting down Hardy and Orton brawl brawl with Jeff Hardy getting a major upset victory and is NOW the wwe champion. You may want Orton to win, but it can go a few different ways. Basically Jeff Hardy would be get a short transitional run as IC/WWE champ, and lose it to orton pretty soon. Which would give Orton a fued until HHH is ready to win the belt.

I'm not big on the Battle Royal. I like the elimination chamber, i just dont think they will do it on such short notice. Tournaments are always fun, but i thought my theory provides excitement, unpredictably, and radical thinking. you know the saying deserate times call for desperate measures, well now is the time. I hear Jericho is ready, but i dont see him wrestling at no mercy. Thats why i didnt add him. I would assume RVD is ready if the money is there, and i'd say vince is has his check book ready for RVD.

Ok if it was up to me I would have a 10 or 20 man Royal Rumble for the title with the final to fighting for the title in the main event at the end of the night (so they have time to rest).

The two would be Randy Orton and Chris Jericho and then I would have Orton cheat to win, piss Jericho off and start one of the best WWE feuds in the past 5 years with Orton and Jericho feuding for the title till around either Survivor Series or Royal Rumble.

Your whole thing is completely wrong because RVD only likes one thing now and that is not wrestling. He loves sitting on his ass all day a waiting for those magic three number of his 4...2...0.. 420

I said, thats what I would do. And whats the point in blowing a Jericho/Orton fued right off the bat. Two things are going to happen with that in the long run

1) Jericho returns only to job to orton

2) Jericho wins the belt as a face, .....to go on to wm to face, good guy HHH for the belt. Yea, theres logic.

You see with my scenerio, you had another face winning the belt, only to drop it to Orton around Survivor Series, Basically setting up Orton vs HHH for WM the whole time.

With my Angle we now have multiple fueds

HHH vs. Umaga/Carlito

RVD vs Orton/Kennedy

Hardy Vs Orton/Carlito/Kennedy

With a heel champ you can barely any feuds. You got Orton vs Jericho and HHH. Thats it.

This is the GREATEST IDEA EVER!!!!

Orton is ready for his match when.... Dong! Dong! Taker comes out and our title match is underway. After a long battle, The Deadman wins the WWE title. But then... On THIS DAY, I SEE CLEARLY!! Edge comes out and he cashes in the MITB, (Again, because its been over 3 months and the writers forgot he cashed it in already) he Spears the Undertaker three times and pins him to win the WWE title (Cole:What an opportunist!). During Edge's Celebration... Misteeeeeeeer Kennedy!! (JBL:No Wai!)

Kennedy:You see Edge, you cost me my MITB. So I went to Vinny Mac and told him to give me a title shot, and that match happens NOW!! Kennedy beats him down, Edge spears him but only gets a two, Kennedy manages a comeback and hits the Lambeau Leap, he goes to the top rope and hits the Kenton Bomb and wins the WWE Title! The fans are going nuts! But just then...

CM Punk comes out! The Chicago crowd is deafening at this point hits the GTS and wins the WWE Title! Everyone is going nuts, but... TIME TO PLAY THE GAME!!! HHH comes out and beats Punk with only a PUNCH to win the WWE title. Vinny Mac comes out and says.. Who the hell do you think you are Hunter? Hunter reveals he got a title shot thanks to Hornswoggle. Vince books the entire tag-team division and The Great Khali against HHH for the WWE title. HHH wins with an EYE POKE!!!!

Vinny Mac is pissed and he says... FUCK THIS! I'm the owner of WWE. He grabs a gun and shoots HHH in his right quad, then in his left quad. HHH passes out from the pain an Vinny Mac makes the cover. Vince is your NEW WWE CHAMPION, but just then... Batista comes out and demands his rematch (I WANT MY REMATCH!!!!). Vince reminds that they haven't wrestled so Batista can't have his rematch. Batista agrees and leaves the ring.

Cody Rhodes comes out and says, Vince, I deserve a title shot because you allowed Orton to go unpunished after he kicked my Dad. Vince says, Cody? Title shot? lolololololololololol.

Hornswoggle comes out and says he has given up his power to this man!! BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!!! Jericho comes out and announces that Vince will face the winner of the WWE.com poll. A man who has been loyal to the company for YEARS, and that man is VAL VENIS (IWC EXPLODES!!!). Venis hits The Money Shot and the winner and NEW WWE CHAMPION... VAL VENIS!!
