When I saw "Silver Powder" I thought it was an actual wrestler, sounds like a Mexican Luchadore to me...

I will say this, I dont watch WWE or TNA much anymore because I'm not a fan of the quality of the wrestling from both companies. I really don't care about gimmicks, storylines, etc. I'd much rather have a realistic storyline that ends with the guys letting their wrestling do the storytelling. I'd rather watch a TNA show over a WWE show at the moment. I think I and lots of others are overly critical on TNA but its with good reason. I don't expect WWE shows to be good. They're the number one promotion in the world, they have absolutely nothing to prove. They have a loyal fanbase. Anything they do will be watched, whether its great or horrible. TNA isn't in that position. TNA hasn't proved anything. They need to be on top of their game at all times, but it seems they're doing the complete opposite. At one point I considered TNA a legit alternative to the WWE's product. Now when I watch TNA I feel as if I'm watching a fourth WWE brand. TNA is alienating its wrestlers and its original fans, and thats definitely not a good thing. How often do you read about TNA wrestlers being upset? Its not a coincidence.

Matt Bentley was pushed at a time. But of course recently, TNA didn't utilize him correctly (like many others in the X Division), and he was frusturated. ANYONE in that situation would be. I for one choose to believe what he said.

TNA IS, at this time, going nowhere. Theres several things you can't defend, including the dismal buyrates for PPV's, and house shows have been outdrawn by ROH. Again, I'm not going to really tear into them until they get two hours, but I've got an inkling that it won't be too much different.

B/c He is stale and TNA knows it. I personally dont want him back and hope he goes back to the WWE.

So that's why people chant Joe's name? Because he's stale? That's why he gets cheered more than any other face on the roster?

Joe's not stale, he's just been treated like shit in TNA, and that's TNA's fault... I know you like to think that TNA is flawless, but the fact is TNA screwed up Joe the moment they decided to let him feud with Angle

Indeed. It seems as if TNA completely lost it's focus right after Angle got there. Every other month or two it seems like another washed out WWE guy appears. The only, and I mean ONLY, entertaining person in the main event scene right now is Samoa Joe. And even he's being utilized wrong. I expect when they go to two hours it will be the same product, only with more bullshit matches and TONS of talking. The X division won't get utilized even still because their best three X guys aren't even focused on the title. AJ's too busy kissing Christian's ass, Daniels is in a decent situation with the Triple X reunion but he got shat out of the X title in a dumb way, and Joe has been handily defeated by the new HHH, Kurt Angle, and has completely lost any momentum he gained in the process.

The X division title officially means nothing now because it gets no attention as a competitors title. It's just another belt.

People chant Joes name b/c he is a babyface....LMAO, they arent just gunna chant Angle name for the hell of it.

Joe is stale. His promos are the same, hes not in shape, and he just has that towel, EVERY TIME....

EDIT- TNA is not flawless by any means. They need longer matches and less Angle, but hes the champ. Get it in your head. Theres a reason hes the champ. Hes gunna be featured more than Joe and everyone else, especially when he has ALL the titles.....

I'm not going to deny that yes, Angle is the champ so, yes he will be featured more. But cluttering up the show with things like the Angle Awards is just stupid. They could have EASILY fit in a Petey Williams, or MCMG match in that time. Again, this week, too cluttered IMO. I wish they would just have one big segment with him rather than all these scattered ones.

And Joe is not stale. His promos are fine, who cares about his weight when he's an amazing wrestler, and who cares? Its a towell. Besides, the issue with the company is much beyond Angle and Joe at this point.

I mean, hey, the buyrates speak for themselves. 20-50 thousand buys is awful. ROH's Respect Is Earned drew 100 grand more than that, to put it in perspective. The Orlando crowd sucks, and they need to get out of the Impact Zone. Hopefully two hours will help, thats all I can really look forward to at this point...

^ I agree they NEED to have Petey on there. I just dont understad that, and that sone of thier major flaws IMO. I do however disagree with you on the "Angle Awards". I wouldnt mind seein the MCMG or something like that, but it would just make more sense from a storyline standpoint. They "Acted" thier way through and made everyone "think" that Karen was on Joes side, so it would just make more sense from that standpoint.

I see the reasoning behind it being Angle's show right now, is because that's what makes sense.
He is the biggest name on their roster, and so you're gonna give him camera time for that, then add in the fact that he has EVERY title and you gotta start giving him air time to keep all the belts in the spotlight.

TNA's greatest hindrance is the fact that they are a 2 hour show happening in 40 mins. I am convinced that a 2nd hour will help them to no ends and give people, like Shark Boy, MCMG, Lance Hoyt etc. the air time they need.

And for the records, Joe isn't stale.
Cutting a promo should only be a small part of wrestling and he's still got his in-ring intensity. Just because he's not put on any 5* classics recently dosen't mean that hr can't anymore.

Just a thought!

What with the 2 hour slot apparently in dispute, Bad booking, Poor ppv rates and the future of Joe in doubt. Things are not looking good for TNA right now, The company showed so much promises 1-2 years ago but they seem to be making the same mistakes as WCW did in thier last years. Which brings me to my thought can anyone else see an Invasion 2 happening.
What if Vince was to buy out TNA?. Could he make a realistic invasion story line with the TNA talent?. Who would he keep on the books? who would he get rid off?.

^No see, the fact is, Vince mentioned WCW on TV. He wont with TNA. I very highly doubt that He would buy TNA. If TNA does go down, it will just be them quitting, and some of the guys going back to the WWE.

I agree.

Again, I'm reserving all harsh judgement until they get a two hour timeslot. It IS hard to give everyone a fair push when you have limited time. I still don't necassarily like where TNA is going, and how the main even scene is, but I'm not going to rush and call them a failure or anything yet.

TNA's biggest fault, is they are looking at the WWE as competition and not worrying about just being a good company.

They can't compete with 5+hours of wrestling per week with their 1 hour slot, so they need to concentrate on making their own stars (stop bringing in WWE rejects) and making their product their own.

That's why I believe Banderas will bring some good matches to TNA. He's not a WWE reject, like Test, Sting, Christian, and Angle. Banderas is fresh and amazing. His matches in AAA that I watched are really good. TNA is taking two steps back. But one step forward.
