I don't see the problem. The 4 Horsewomen are the all wrestling core, meanwhile Bliss continues to develop her starpower by now appearing on a network reality show with a moderately high viewership.

This will offer Alexa a chance to become a more iconic force beyond wrestling, which is in her nature anyway. The bigger she gets, the more eyes are drawn to the product.

Oh...I don't have a problem with Alexa (or any other female performer) being a big star...
and frankly I believe she'll be in Hollywood in a few years anyway...I just don't like the idea
of a female performer being pushed over others just because she's on a reality show.

I like and watch Total Divas/Bellas...I just wish the reality shows didn't influence the booking
side of the wrestling business.

Plus an Alexa/Nia feud puts possibly the 2 weakest "wrestlers" on RAW in a feud with each other
while better in-ring workers like Sasha & Mickie James are left doing nothing.

I want the WWE women to be successful...but I want them to be successful as wrestlers first...
then they can be models/reality stars/actresses after that.

Hence why I'm glad Eva Marie is being cut loose and I'm saving my opinions on Lana until I
actually see her wrestle.

I like what you say in some regards but I think this is a point worth debating.

You say you want them ti be successful as wrestlers, while also pointing out that they're possibly the 2 weakest "wrestlers" on Raw. Alexa and Jax are almost entirely character work wrestlers, so reality TV suits them fine. Wrestling is rarely about the actual wrestling. The Attitude Era, the most successful period in history for wrestling, featured terrible wrestling. Steve Austin was a great wrestler until he got injured, at which point his offence was basically punches and a falling elbow. Look at Mick Foley? Not a talented wrestler at all and yet I would have definitely followed him religiously regardless.

The Eva Marie story was essentially going to be business self-parody in much the same way that Heath Slater was. They're looking to revisit that with Lana. I'm genuinely excited by that.

And finally, and this is definitely my biggest point: nobody has been pushed more than the 4 Horsewomen. Nobody. Charlotte had a rocket strapped to her back for well over a year, while Sasha and Becky were featured so prominently that all of the other female wrestlers at Wrestlemania 32 were relegated to the pre-show. The Horsewomen were on the side of the damned building. Eva Marie was pushed, originally, on the basis of Total Divas. That was more than 2 years ago. They learned their lesson.

First off...Nia Jax has no character...she has nothing. She brings nothing to the WWE besides her "size" which
is really sad because she has a lot of potential...but frankly everything about her is wrong at this point in time.

Hey I enjoy character work in the wrestling industry more than most. Most of my favorite wrestlers "are/were"
strong and strange characters. Bray Wyatt, Rosemary (Love her!), Classic Kane, Classic Mankind, Gangrel...
but I was never a real fan of Austin, Rock or even Mick Foley when he became "normal"

My favorite "wrestlers" were Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Ken Shamrock...guys who could actually wrestle.

I guess what I'm saying is I like certain wrestlers for their characters...and some for their technical in-ring skills...
and some for both...like say Becky Lynch...who is possibly the most likeable female "character" in WWE history
but also has some great in-ring skills to back up that great look and cheeky smile of hers.
The Eva Marie story was essentially going to be business self-parody in much the same way that Heath Slater was. They're looking to revisit that with Lana. I'm genuinely excited by that.
Well...I guess I'd rather Lana just get in the ring and wrestle. I mean I like Lana from
what I've seen of her on Total Divas...the woman is a sweetheart...but for me the
wrestling should always come first in a wrestling company.

I will admit I found the brief Eva Marie avoids wrestling story lie that lasted about 3 weeks...
but I'd like to think Lana deserves better than that.

If they want her to be "A Diva" then fine...but let her wrestle and contribute to the division
in a positive way instead of reminding fans about the days of eye-candy and bikini contests.

Of course I'm a hypocrite because I'm sure I'd be drooling like a hungry dog if the current
women's roster did have a bikini contest...but...the wrestling should come first.
Yeah...that's all well and good...at a Wrestlemania were most of the main male performers
were injured and the card frankly looked like shit.

I have a theory that if it wasn't for that bad run of injuries the "Women's Revolution" may
not have even happened and the proof of that is this years Wrestlemania.

So at Wrestlemania 32 Charlotte, Sasha & Becky put on what I believe was the match of the
night and were given 16 minutes and 3 seconds to do so.

At Wrestlemania 33 Charlotte, Sasha, Bayley and Nia were given 12 minutes and 8 seconds while
the 6 women of SmackDown (which included home town hero Naomi) were given just 5 minutes and
35 seconds.

Meaning that at Wrestlemania 32...3 women were given 16 minutes and 3 seconds...while at
Wrestlemania 33...10 women were given a combined total of 17 minutes 43 seconds.

This is complete and utter bullshit and shows that for all the talk about a women's revolution...
it means nothing because Triple H & Shane McMahon each needed 20+ minutes of match time
at the biggest event of the year.

That's why I'm so excited about the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match. It shows that the
WWE does actually care and does want to move the women's division forward...even if nothing
of note has been done with it since RoadBlock: End of the Line.
